The teams were shocked that 2 were fired last week.

I'm guessing a lot of people are probably gonna miss the show tonight due to the holidays.

I'd seen spoiler information that Mosaic came up with Pepsi Edge. That's obviously not the case as they were told the product will be Pepsi Edge.

The idea for odd shaped bottles is strange because the bottle needs to be able to fit in a drink machine. How could a bottle be a sphere shape are have a hole through the middle of it

buwahahaha....this has got to be a landslide for Apex. That Mosaic bottle is the stupidest thing I've ever seen

I love the look when they think they are going into a small conference room. And they walk onto a stage in front of a large crowd.

Apex had a neat looking bottle with a hole in the middle, but the bottle shape might not go over great with the Pepsi marketing group which was huge.

Actually it was Andy's bottle not Sandy's - He wanted the "best of both worlds" theme and that's where the globe idea came in. It was the ugliest thing I've ever seen too in a soda bottle. That ridiculous base, the map - hideous - and the entire marketing department was laughing at them. It would never have even fit in most store refrigerators. It was laughably amateur and all three of them should have been fired for coming up with something so lame. Kelly wiped the floor with Andy on this one.

Only the ugliest thing since Sandy didn't present that spherical bottle idea. Damn, that was bad. Both were bad.

Sandy's presentation was awful...I'm still not sure what all Jenn really did do and I can't remember now who came up with that ugly ##### bottle.

Ivana goes to Andy to tell him to get rid of Jen. Andy thinks Ivana just wants Jen gone because she is her rival. So Andy goes to Jen and plans to go after Sandy.

That was the most ridicolous boardroom and firing I've seen all season. The debating champion didn't open his mouth in the boardroom when he needed to most.

Tougher in a cat fight maybe, but cats just end up clawing their eyes out if you let em go at it. Need some control in there.

Since when does screaming loudly like banshees constitute debating?

Trump wanted to see a catfight, and he rewarded his two girls for giving him a show.

"RE: Question:"
Posted by Fishercat on 11-25-04 at 09:59 PM
I was going to say, screaming is not debating. Of course, neither does acknoledging your opponent's criticisms as correct, many times. I can't say any of the three debated once they were called back in (however, before being sent out, not bad), but it's too bad Andy didn't just tell Sandy to "shut the **** up" and try to make his point. Granted, he may get fired for an f-bomb, but it'd be worth it.

"RE: Question:"
Posted by cs79 on 11-25-04 at 10:04 PM
Sandy gets out of control. If I were Andy, I would have told her she needs to control her temper because she had a fight with Maria during the task last week for 20 minutes, and that is what her problem is. I didn't expect Andy to get into the debating. All they were doing was yelling. At that point, all you do is just listen to it through one ear and let it go out right through the other. I thought it took more to sit back and act calm.

They lost with that idea, but Sandy originally wanted a completely round bottle. No one would have been able to hold it in one hand with that design.

Agh I just really don't want Ivana or Kelly to win in the end. I really don't care that much for the others who are left, but I canot stand Ivana and Kelly. I felt bad for Jen in this episode, but Andy shouldn't have sided up with her too much. I think that did him in.

"RE: Question:"
Posted by Fishercat on 11-25-04 at 10:16 PM
Personally, I agree with you. I think he did try to make his point, but she completely drowned him out. That would be the only reason I'd suggest yelling to get her to shut up, but I agree. If I were Andy, I would have likely taken his route, and sadly, would have gotten fired for not yelling. I guess I basically disagree with Trump's reasoning for firing Andy.

Completely agree that Sandy's idea stunk, if only because the base (no base) could not fit in a cup holder OR a store holder (as in a case), nor could it go in soda machines. George said the one they used couldn't, but it could have clearly been fixed to do so. I hated both ideas, heck, I hated all three ideas, but the right one definitely prevailed not only as a winner, but on the losing side.

I wouldn't mind Kelly winning, nor would I mind Kevin. I wouldn't be absolutely livid with anyone remaining, but I just can't picture someone who drops their skirt to sell candy as running a multi-million dollar project, not can I imagine someone who would yell like Sandy did and have multiple times where she is a negative (round bottle idea, arguing, yelling, etc.).

Summary: Basically, I agree with you, too bad Trump didn't.

What an episode

Apparently Jenn's presentation skills weren't all that strong, and Raj returned. Sandy still should have been fird though because screaming over someone does not constitute good debating skills it just makes you look like a maniac.

I actually read on another site the other day (which I didn't know whether was true or not) that Trump so regretted firing Andy that the next boardroom he did lasted a really long time because he was afraid of making another mistake. I think his ideas can be wild, but I think he was a better candidate than Sandy or Jen. I'm surprised he didn't bring up the fact that Sandy was horrible at public speaking? That's kind of a big thing the winner should be good at.

Yup, He definitely should have brought up her gawd-awful presentation skills. Thanks for pointing out who came up with the lame round bottle idea. I thought he should have used that too. He compromised in making the bottle the odd shape it ended up being which was still horrible but it would have been really horrid had they gone with the round bottle.

He definitely was a better candidate than the other two idjiot on his team. What did him in I think was the perception of an alliance with Jen.

I doubt this rumour is true - Trump would never admit to making a "mistake", I don't think he even believes he can make "mistakes". And firing Andy was the right thing to do - the whole concept of the globe was horrible and it was mostly his idea. It made Crustacean Nation seem brilliant.

Well, I think he made a mistake. Sandy is as bad as Maria with her yelling. She didn't even let anyone speak! I think it's rude to continously cut someone off and yell. Andy should have said more correctly though that Sandy was creative, she just didn't have good ideas.

And I don't think Andy was getting his butt kicked by the ladies as Trump said. There's only so much yelling you can do. The fighting was so juvenile.

I think Andy took the high road by trying to keep quiet until the argument calmed down, which it never did. Sandy and Jen were not debating, they were talking over each other in a shouting match. Andy did not want to participate in that. But Trump gave Sandy points for her rigorous defense. I believe Trump would have fired Andy regardless of weather he defended himself sharply or not.

Sandy did awesome in defending herself and that ended with the result seen. I REALLY hated ther design and was sourly dissapointed as I liked Andy and really wanted them to win.

As for the "volume" of Sandy's defense. It was a reaction and the right one, that resulted in off balancing Andy and putting Jen on the defensive. Women are excellent at this as any guy knows! hehe I dont think Andy could do anything much different in the boardroom sadly.

We've seen Sandy "debate" in the toned down syle many think of as debating, but in the real world debates can be very emotionally charged. Watch C-Span, or better still the House of Commons on TV. Political leaders of millions are not above shouting when they are outraged and many people do when they fear they will not be heard.
She clearly saw that Jen and Andy meant to see her out.
Her "Spunk" saved her. Personnaly I thought it was the high point of an otherwise very dissapointing episode.
Also, I liked the Cabby/Raj skit. I like a sense of humor.

Notably, BOTH ideas were bad IMO. Just Mosaics was far worse. I don't expect t see Apex's bottle in the stores.

I agree with you Wolfcat. I think Sandy was outstanding in defending herself. During the task I never saw anything that Sandy did wrong, as a matter of fact she contributed a lot. Andy bribed the design team with cash & withheld their food! This was a very big mistake!

She clearly saw that Jen and Andy meant to see her out.

I saw this too. Jenn obviously cast her spell on Andy and got him to try and help her take out Sandy. Donald also talked to her about how all the PM's seem to let her slide by each week.

It will be very interesting next week when these two are left on a team together after last nights BR>

If I haven't done so already, I would like to say, "Welcome to the boards."

>During the task
>I never saw anything that
>Sandy did wrong
One mistake she made was she kept stuttering during the presentation. Maybe she was nervous and not as poise as Andy, who did a much better job presenting than everyone including Jenn.

But in the boardroom, she surely wasn't nervous at all. She fought for her life, and she won and deserved the victory. It's sad to see Andy go, but Sandy earned her right to stay there longer - especially when she indeed was the one who came up with the game idea which Andy and Jenn tried to take credit away from her.

"RE: Oh and, whos so dangerous in the boardroom?""
Posted by Wolfcat on 11-26-04 at 11:00 PM
Oh and I almost forgot this tragic catalyst to start Andy's downfall...

I almost forgot about Ivanna going to Andy to warn him about how dangerous jenn was in the BR. I have to laugh now. The poor sod really thought he had it tied up with a collaboration with Jenn but I don't think either saw Sandy being the challenge that she was.

Oh and yes, Sandy made mistakes too. They all did, on BOTH teams. Sandy's bottle was horrid and she choked on the presentation. The later I think really showed lack of experience in that medium. With some coaching she'd pick it up. Mosaic members showed one way of prepping, there are many. Sandy needs help with that, but it's not hard.

Its always the boardroom that matters in the end.

Ivanna, you idiot!
