I posted a link in General Discussion to this thread. Thanks for setting it up!Please abide in my words, for my references speak of the truth that is within me.
Each team gets a dilipidated house and gets $20,000 to fix it up. The winning team increases the home values the most.As a twist the first four losers come back for this week only.
Stacie comes back and immediately attacks Ivana for her role in getting her fired.
The PMs for tonight are Raj for Apex and Sandy for Mosaic.
Raj's team is knocking out a wall to turn a four bedroom house into a three bedroom with a second bathroom.
Apex's bathroom is in bad shape and their time limit is almost up.
What was the title of Trump's message of the week again?
I am taping the show but do not remember any title.
Working with _______? Fill in that blank!!!
I will rewind and let you know after the show is over.
Working with people you don't like.Referring to the 4 first fired members.
"CONTROL YOUR CONTRACTOR"
Sandy and Mosaic feels pretty good about their work. The added a bathroom, carpet, flooring, etc.
Raj's bathroom looks terrible. The new carpet on the stairs is filthy and needs to be replaced.
APEX looks in bad shape
Mosaic increased the home value by 10% vs. 7% by Apex
Mosaic won the use of a nice home on the ocean for their reward.
Jen and Raj are saying that Ivana should be the one voted out this week.
There are a lot of possibilities as to who will be fired.Kevin Raj and Ivana are going to the boardroom.
OMFG!!! THe real estate values there are mind-boggling. Those rinkadink houses wouldn't be worth $150K in this part of Tennessee and they are over 400K?????? Holy heck!!!Sandy really, really stepped up this week. I am impressed. This one was a blow-out.
Miscellaneous Ramblings
--I'd have shoved a taco up a contractor's nose if I were Raj.
Every episode there's always that one YAHOO, who just makes a big bad decision. Who would want a three bedroom house over a four if they read it in a newspaper. Looks like the yahoo is Raj this time. and i liked hime too
It looked to me like the 2 rooms he turned into one were really small. I don't know about anyone else but if I'm going to pay 400,000 for a house and I need 4 bedrooms I'm going to make sure they are at least of decent size. By making that one big room he may be helping to appeal more to the consumer.
Appraisal value can be different from resale value, and TD made it VERY clear what value they were going for.
Trump says it will be tough for all three, but he fired Raj for making too many mistakes.Being a PM is tough.
Ironic! Trump with bowtie fires man with bowtie!
Raj... tryin to talk to Robin??? Geez, this is the same guy who couldnt sit around the Models for 2 seconds without grabbin and kissing their hands. I'm kinda convinced... this guy is a serial rapist deep down inside
Boy did Sandie's stock go up this week! What happened? Pull her hair back and she becomes a nice, friendly, intelligent young lady. Even her voice was youthful and optomistic!!After Sandie, Andy was impressive -- and Rob! Wow! That's the attitude that a returning candidate should show, not the vengance-is-mine attitude as expressed by Stacie, & Jen C., which did NOTHING for their teams, and nothing for them, as individuals.
Raj was dead-on in his taxi ride. He was not on the attack, which Ivana and Kevin were, which ended with his dismissal...

Stacie did a lot (as agreed by Jenn M). Just that they didn't air it on TV.
>and Rob! Wow! That's the
>attitude that a returning candidate
>should show, not the vengance-is-mine
>attitude as expressed by Stacie,
>& Jen CThat's because Rob wasn't around long enough to make enemies He was just happy to get back on camera!
Ahem, in case anybody missed it, or just didn't have time to reflect on it yet, we all know already that Chris will PM for Apex during next week's challenge...Now, we know, but Chris doesn't know yet, that that challenge will the one where he has to run a Bridal Salon. Jeesh. On the other hand, he will probably end up doing very well. Inexperience has really not been a negative factor on this show. In fact, any time that someone announces their expertise is frequently their swan song. Think Katrina on last year's real estate fixer-upper challenge, Elizabeth on the Crest Challenge -- "I know it all, I even used to work for P&G"... and most recently, Raj, the real estate developer, on a real estate developement challenge.
I'm kind of bummed about the preview. Chris is the #1 contestant I want kicked off the show, but previews are almost always deceptive. That again, the one two weeks ago pretty much gave away that Elizabeth would be fired, so I'll be sitting here and praying.

>here and praying.Chris is such a jerk. Why did he add his stupid little comment? It was such a Bragford moment. I seriously thought Trump would fire him like he did Bragford. Raj should have said "Actually, I'll bring Chris in with me" when Trump gave him the opportunity. I'll bet Trump would have fired Chris.
God, Trump is so obnoxious. "I'm giving away an important award." He was grinning ear to ear when Bragford kissed his ##### about his trophy fiancee.
Doesn't Sandy own a bridal salon? Or do I have the wrong person?
Almighty Icecat!
Yep, she's the one.
He's supposed to be a real estate investor?!?!?! First of all, they had too much of a time constraint to be screwing around with a major project like siding. Their first priority should have been getting that bathroom FINISHED and in shape, then the kitchen. His WORST mistake was taking that wall down. You never DECREASE the # of bedrooms to increase the value!! They weren't trying to make the house more livable or even more saleable. They were trying to increase the APPRAISAL amount.
Personally, I don't believe he knows anything about RE investing. Maybe he just funds someone else(s) who is the brains behind the operation. It's very fundamental, beginner knowledge that the # of bedrooms and baths are big appraisal increase factors.I'm also disappointed that none of his other team members called him on this. I would have overturned that decision in a heartbeat.
Siding is very simple and can go really quikly if you know what you are doing. And since they were using contractors I assume they would.
Well, there was some reason that the bathroom wasn't finished. The time should have been invested there FIRST as a bathroom adds more appraisal value than siding.
I think today's episode is just horrible. Jen M. was vicious. It looks like she was out for Ivana, and for no reason other than she wants to keep Raj around. That's so scary, and I started wondering whether Ivana, Elizabeth and all the other women were just her pawn in this game. She kind of just uses them as her attack dogs to kill off others one by one.I may be completely wrong, but from what I have seen today, I was shocked! Raj was out not only because he was not attacking. It's also because he listened to Jen M and picked Ivana. If he picked Chris, he may still be in this game. But he is just manipulated by another beautiful woman. Like he said before, beauty and intelligence is a dangerous mix!
That was a fun episode, maybe my favorite so far.One of the reasons I liked it so much: Barely any Twitchy McTwitch. She was too busy twitching and creating her own fashion disasters. Thank goodness.
The "Stacie J. smackdown?" Eh. Not so great. I expected more. IvanaHideInACorner fled like the scared little weasel that she is. Jen C. needs to shut up. Her whole "Ivana should have been fired instead of me?" Uh, not quite, Jen. Go back to flirting with Rob and exhausting your DAWiness.
Two people who endeared themselves to me this eppy: Sandy and Raj. Sandy did a good job. I like that she was crying and she did it privately so that no one could see her. She pulled it together and did a good job. Thought her presentation to the appraisers was very professional. I also (and I know this won't make me popular) liked Raj in this ep. YES, his ideas were WAY off. I was horrified listening to his reasoning for 3 bedrooms instead of 4 (real bad idea). But he stuck with his guns, he took responsibility, he didn't try to lay it off on Kevin which would have been very easy for him to do, I like how he told Trump he wasn't playing politics, he had a good taxicab confession, and I love that he asked Robin for her number. I loved that. He maintained his composure and sense of humor. Good on him.
Chris is a big fat moron. He's so fired.
Ivana still sucks. My god she's a mean beeyauch. She totally got Coven-ed (TM) by Jen M. though.
Lastly, I am SO off the Jen M. love train and I can't believe I was there in the first place. Why didn't you guys tell me she was this two-faced, arrogant, and catty? She's no better than Twitchy McTwitch and Ivana. Her whole "I'll attack Ivana if you want me to." Please, Jen. Get off your own love train.
Kevin made a HUGE mistake. But Raj made the most. I think Sandy and Kelly are bumping uglies.
Alag,
I agree. RAJ took responsibility, even for the contractor, and he didn't do it in a "martyr" type of way at all.
>Coven-ed (TM)Whhat does that mean?
