The team selection method was a nice turnaround. Instead of picking who they wanted, Wes & Jennifer had to pick who they did not want on their team, sending three people over to the other side. Unfortunately, this put Wes in a very bad spot, since the three weakest women are collectively much worse than the three weakest men. Just for the record, the selections in order were:
Jennifer: Sandy, Maria, Stacy (Jennifer kept Ivana & Elizabeth on the team)
Wes: Raj, Chris, Kevin (Wes kept Kelly & Andy on the team)

The task involved setting up a business to take care of dogs. It could be grooming, walking, or anything else the teams could think of.

Mosaic was basicly washing dogs. Apex was ashing, massaging and toenail clipping the dogs.
The new Apex team made almost 3 times as much profit as Mosaic.

Besides the diversified activities, Apex's other strength was the fact that they were in two locations.
Wes claimed that he wanted to branch out to another location, but Andy's loss of the cell phone prevented the team from doing so.

Something had to give though. Both Andy and Stacy were in the Boardroom for the third time, so one of them had to survive. Congrats to Andy for being the first to avoid the three time curse. If he wins next week, he'll put himself in a good position for the endgame.

Trump quite frankly needs to listen to his advisors more. George, Carolyn, and even George's subs have been giving him great advice this season. Whenever Trump decides to do his own thing, it leaves me scratching my head. Heck, for the last four/five weeks they've had to dub Trump's explanations for the firings. I'd love to know what BS Burnett had to edit out to make Trump look at least halfway rationale.

I think DT just got tired of that petulant little moue she makes whenever someone disagrees with her.
She's vindictive, in addition to being useless. She will do anything to avoid taking responsibility - exaggerate the mistakes of others (Pamela/Enron ring a bell?), blame others for not kowtowing to her less than cost effective ideas ($30 outfits for dog pics), and talk over and through what anyone else has to say.

Since both Stacy and Andy were in the Boardroom for the 3rd time, now Andy has survived 3 Boardrooms with Stacy's firing. The preview shows Andy as an underdog next week as PM on a task to promote the FDNY. And Elizabeth as PM facing a mutiny from her team.

I'm sure you're wondering what that has to do with this discussion. Well, I went out tonight and set my vcr to tape straight through Survivor and The Apprentice. DH's job was to change the cable box from cbs to nbc between the two shows. Well, he change it to nbc, but he left the tv on, with the sound turned down. I walked in the house just in time to see Stacy climbing into the cab. Dork, dork, dork!

Maria was pretty much ignored this week because of her exemption, by both the camera crew and us. Carolyn was impressed with her, though, and Carolyn never forgets, which bodes ill for Maria's future.
