The show is great as is Vegas on NBC. My significant other thinks there is an other casino show called American Casino which uses the green valley resort in Vegas is this true

Yes it is true.

These are shown on Discovery Channel

My LTC and I agree that this is a great show.
Specially when it is held in comparison to MB's total piece of staged CARP.

For all of those who had wished that "The Casino" on Fox would be more, better, different. You should move over to Discovery Channel on Fridays at 8pm and/or Saturdays at 4pm.

American Casino is so much better than the Casino!!!! Basically because the storylines you see each week aren't staged, scripted and set up. Nothing about The Casino seems real at all. If I hadn't read elsewhere about these two guys buying the place, I would be wondering how real that is. American Casino is more about the people who work in various areas of the hotel/casino operation and how they deal with different challenges/issues. No cameras following "whales" from the airport.

American Casino kicks butt on Casino. The only problem is that I have never taken the time to watch either show.
