Tues POV Compeition and ceremony Air.
If they do a Sunday should Eric use the POV, then they already spoiled 1/2 of the Tuesday show.

LAST EDITED ON 08-30-07 AT 03:13 PM (EST)I think Eric has to be getting very nervous. Taking Jameka out of the HoH speculation for obvious reasons, he's looking at a field of:
Daniele & Dick: If they're honoring their alliance for a little while longer, either of them should put up Jameka and whoever's left over from tonight's block. But they could very easily decide that Jessica & Eric represent too potent a pairing, and either nominate them both or hope on a backdoor. (With everyone currently playing for Veto, nominating both may be the safer move.) Daniele doesn't care about promises unless someone makes them to her, and Dick could do just about anything, especially if it'll make Daniele happy.
Zach (if surviving): Working with Jameka doesn't give him enough of a power base. He'll definitely target one of the major pairs: temporarily ally with one duo, then go after the other. But which one? Eric can't count on Zach falling his way, because Dick is such an appealing F2 partner -- and given the amount of whining Daniele's done, you're going to look pretty good sitting next to her too. Eric & Jessica are actually the bigger jury threats here.
Amber (if surviving): Will nominate Eric. Yes, she could go after anyone except Jameka, but given that Eric, in her bigoted eyes, is power-hungry, evil, soulless, and betrayed her by not using the Blingie to save her when that's what God wanted -- I think Eric has to be her target. Amber think strategically? Not for long and not in this case.
Jessica: Can't play for HoH until the competition after this one. (Which may be less than a week away, given how little time is left in the season.)
So he's looking at one person who's almost guaranteed to put him up, one who's very likely to, two who'll do anything they can get away with, and the one person he can count on is out of commission for up to seven days. Not the best odds with six left. This might be the time to go for HoH -- except that he has to suspect he won't be in full control of his nominations, and the Vote For The Worst factor (assuming CBS keeps honest ballots) will be weighing on his mind.
Eric's best hopes of staying off the block are to hope Amber goes home, talk Zach into targeting the other pairing, and pray the Donatos keep their word. And no matter which one of those you're looking at, if you're Eric, you can't like those odds...
Win HoH this week if he can, and cross everything crossable on passing it back to Jessica for the next cycle? Maybe. But if America's vote controls one or both nominations, winning HoH could be the worst thing he could ever do.
I don't have a definitive answer here. I just feel he's considering going for it -- and almost terrified of what might happen if he gets it.
Well, I'm glad you came along and said much better exactly what I was thinking. Now I'm skeered.
"Let them call me rebel and welcome, I feel no concern from it; but I should suffer the misery of devils, were I to make a whore of my soul by swearing allegiance to one whose character is that of a sottish, stupid, stubborn, worthless, brutish man. I conceive likewise a horrid idea in receiving mercy from a being, who at the last day shall be shrieking to the rocks and mountains to cover him, and fleeing with terror from the orphan, the widow, and the slain of America."
