Anyone notice on the first episode Kail's outfit kept "changing"? Every time they would come back to the new HGs sitting on the couch doing intros and talking to Julie Kail would alternate between having a skirt on and having jeans on. Clearly this wasn't live. And clearly the editors are clueless. It did this about 6 or 8 times.

They are in the house a day or two before the first show.

I, personally, had no expectation that the Thursday show this week would be live.

They only thing that might have been live was the HOH and I'm not sure it was for the first show.

Could be that many, but I figured it had to be a minimum of 1-2 days pre show.

For the CBS broadscasts, the only nearly-live portions tend to be broadcast during elimination episodes -- there's generally a small tape delay present to allow bleeping out of profanities. I'm honestly not sure how Showtime is handling its BB After Dark program: they don't need to cover speech or blur nudity, so they might be operating on zero delay or close to it.
