At a guess, the most this will lead to will be a wrist slap. Contestants aren't allowed to promote themselves this way during the competition, but the rules have to take a back seat to the numbers and predetermined pimp schedule. If Tim & Todrick had done this, they might be eliminated on the spot. With these three -- well, there's three of them and the show probably doesn't want to call anyone back to the stage, so removing all of them is off the option list. Plus these three have been promoted pretty heavily: AI wants them all in the Top Twelve, badly. Short-circuiting their own plans... they'd have to break a lot more rules than this.

In this case, there really was safety in numbers. I doubt the show will ever mention this during any broadcast -- not unless someone keeps piling up the violations and they have to document the trail leading to the exit.

But it was still very stupid. Maybe just a little bit desperate. And very, very spoiled/entitled...

With all that they could be risking, the potential millions and attached benefits, the stupidity of that was mind-blowing. Andrew and Lee might actually get far enough in this to be rewarded with a lucrative career, if they don't get kicked off now!

However, that demonstration of lack of self restraint is probably an indication of what they will do with any success they find, I'm afraid.
