He didnt do it as great as the great Lionel Richie, but I dont think anyone can. Yet, I would still watch Taylor Hicks sing for one hour with Kelly Pinkacrd (?) with him as well. That's a Garth/Trisha combo

Honestly...it was just different than Lionel Richie's version, it was Taylor Hicks "Easy" and, ya know...I LIKED IT!!!

I'm loving Taylor Hicks. Not his best song choice tonight, hope the fans forgive him and vote anyway. I want to see him hang around for the finish line.

I don't believe Taylor will be able to vary his style enough to make it to the final three. There are certain types of songs he will struggle with - country, '50s love ballads - and large segments of the viewing audience will get tired of his twitching and shouting out "hey" during his songs.
But his post-American Idol career will do well just the same, because he definitely has a marketable style. It's just not the "pop idol" style that this contest is geared up to create.
