During last nights auditions, we were told Simon celebrated his 50th birthday. He recieved what was possibly the best gift he could have gotten in the auditioner who said his vocal lessons were from the Randy and Paula voice coach DVD.

I was laughing almost as hard as Simon was during this segment.

So, AI board, what "gift" would you like to give Simon for his birthday?

Great post and too funny- I bet Simon is glad he didn't sign on to the DVD production- now he can rag on the other 2.

What do I want to give Simon? Probably some psychiatrist sessions; he was obviously teased and traumatized as a child (hence his drive to insult others) and is deeply closeted (hence his drive to ridicule gay/effiminate/gender confused contestants). Oh, that and a MIRROR.

Also, when they showed the DVD on TV why did they have to blurr it out? I didn't understand.

Vols - I think Simon was just having a good time parodying Paula and Randy. They're always on his case for being rude. He is, of course, but that was just him razzing Paula and Randy.

That was the greatest thing ever! I think I enjoyed it as much as Simon did. Maybe more.
