I’ve only seen some parts of the Orlando and SF shows so I’ve no doubt missed most of the talent we’ll see in the weeks to come. I did catch Elizabeth’s audition and have to say that I know in my heart, OK, maybe not my heart exactly, that she is my American Idol.

She wasn’t the best singer with the greatest range but she wasn’t scared to strip herself down physically and creatively, push her limits and say, ‘This is what I got”. No guts, no glory. The odds of getting as far as she has are pretty astronomical and her high-risk tactics have so far paid off. Consider that she has nowhere to go from here but up. With the FCC buttheads ready to pounce on any wardrobe malfunctions, you know that her next outfit will have a few more inches of material and her song selection won’t be pushing the high frequency limits of most TV’s speakers.

She’s sexy, fun and confident within her range. My prediction is that she’s going to be pushing a lot of buttons on the nations cell phones.

She's a good singer that's what really got her through. She dressed like that to get attention but it really wasn't necessary. I think she would have made it through even if she wore jeans and a t-shirt. Well jeans and a tank top maybe.

As you mentioned she does look sexy and fun. Is that enough to win AI though ?

We thought the braces combined with the fishnet "clothes" were scary. Not in a sexy way, either.



But the voice was pretty good, and we can always buy her something at Old Navy.

yes. they didn't show her singing yet. And she looks very different with many clothes on. younger.
But she is the one they showed alot in previews for tonight, as part of a trio of girls, and the other 2 don't want to work with her and "babysit" her. She looks really lost in trying to memorize and dance with the other girls.

So, I'd be surprised if she made it past tonight.

It'll take her a year to memorize the lyrics to her favorite song. But she'll also have her braces off by then too.

P.S. I thought I remembered the show saying she was 21 ??

OK, so that was unquestionably a dumbbass prediction on my part. I thought her adequate pipes and hot little bod might move her to the next phase. Give me a break though. In the film I saw, the producers neglected to indicate that she was dumber then a rock.

I have received a number of substantial offers from parents who are requesting that my future predictions do not include their son or daughter. No one wants the clueless kiss of death. Next round’s on me.
