Don't have an answer, but I hope someone does. PH was in Mexico. I'd bet they don't want it that far from the US.![]()
I've got a strong hunch that Forever Eden was/is being filmed in a not-too-touristy area of Jamaica called Port Antonio. They're famous for their river-rafts that sure look an awful lot like the ones the folks are arriving on. If not, it sure is designed to *look* like it's in Port Antonio. I've been there, and it looks awfully familiar. Not a definite, but it sure looks like it. How do we find out for sure?
With the cricket audio tape loop and the goofy raft, I was sure it was videotaped at Disneyland's "Jungle Cruise" ride. Can anyone else hear the "It's a Small World" music faintly in the background?

Go ahead. Bite the apple.
I think it's in Jamaica as well.
My husband and I were there on our honeymoon and noticed that the crickets have a distinct chirp...it all came back to me when I was watching a scene filmed at night and heard that sweet melody once again...ahhh![]()
Mary, in the first episode, said she had never seen so many black people in her life when she got off the plane. So I'd guess Jamaica -- there are other places that would apply, like the Bahamas (but the weather there is like Miami and can be iffy) and why fly everyone to Aruba when Jamaica is beautiful and closer (read: cheaper for Fox).

Yup - I have an article on the filming in Port Antonio Jamaica - and details - check it out: http://ilovereality.com/Forever_Eden/news.html - go down the the posting on 3/8 to read more. They estimated the company is spending $7 million just on the location. Cha Ching!!!
Interesting and decidely scary article. Wanna-be actors (guessed that part), retakes, deliberately steering the ships for the shores of Springerland -- this isn't PHo, this is the next step down from PHo. How much time do you think we have before someone smashes Piggy/Matt's head against a cliff?
