I love this show and I hope it runs till completion, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it canceled. All that being said, what rumors are you talking about? People post BS all the time on message boards, why is this 'rumor' even worth repeating?

I also love this show. To me it's much better than stuff like The Swan, Wife Swap, or Nanny 911. I'll never understand how those shows are making it while this one suffers.

There is tough competition on Sunday nights.

Yeah, Desperate Housewives is on at the same time. I hope it's just a rumor though. I mean what else would FOX put on at this point that would get better ratings ?

There are two upcoming episodes still on tap (I don't think it goes beyond the two week window anyway).

I don't want to insult you guys because you enjoy watching the show-- but I have got to rag on it.
I admit, I thought the previews looked hilarious, and I jumped at the chance to see something mock the Apprentice, the first Reality show I ever got into. I thought the first episode was funny, but by the second, I could barely stomach these people. And every episode has been worse.
Oh, sure, I love to see idiots expose themselves. But the sleaze factor on this show goes beyond the contestants and the facades of the "IOCOR executives". The editing for this show is pathetic. They show the same reaction shots repeatedly. It's like they're assuming the audience is as stupid as these contestants seem to be.
The supposed 'real' moments, such as Mr. Todd going into the real boss's office and asking who should be fired, are ridiculously over the top and affected.
The contestants themselves...oh where to begin? I am not a fan of the Apprentice people, and I do know what editing, sound effects, music, and even lighting can do to affect an audience's emotional reactions to people, but these contestants are so utterly repulsive beyond that-- I feel filthy after watching them.
Some of you will probably read this and say, "What's your point? That's what this stuff is all about," or, "What cave have you been living in?" Well, I'll be honest. I -have- been living in a cave as far as this kind of stuff goes. I guess I should go back in there until the revolution comes.
