You know, it just struck me as very weird that we know next to nothing about the Coy family. Not what her father does for a living; what her two nitwit brothers are doing still living at home; her sister Melanie's story...I realize the show is about Randi and Steve, but it seems to me that we know more about Steve's family...AND THEY'RE ACTORS!!! We know that his parents are ex-hippies, that Steve's sister is obssessed with death, that Steve's father is a recovering alcoholic, that they walk around nude in the house...
I don't know...if I were a member of the Coy family, this fact would worry me a little.

...and Randi was class of 98, Bobby is a senior who should graduate this year....I don't know what the dad does, we don't run in the same social circles as the Coys.....

National Champs a couple times in the last few years. Couldn't find any definitive evidence that this is the same Pat Coy, but he's listed as 5'8 180lbs and was a sophomore in 99 and junior on the 00 team (a tri-captain in fact). Don't see him listed on any team after that though.
Not sure how to post a picture but here's a link to a team photo. I'm pretty sure that's our little punk on the far right...trying to look hard as usual.

I'm not sure the dad is a professional coach: I suspect he just coached the kids in their sports......I wish I had a scanner, could send some yearbook photos, a whole litter of Pugs attended school with the Coys....
Mel's got a web page on DU's web site. It has a resume that is consistent with a Yahoo! People Search on the dad's name. It also seems Bobby is quit the little football place, holding all sorts of records at his school. Okay, I've said too much.~ thecampbellguy

Tuition at DU is 24,000+/year (MamaPug went there on scholarship when the tuition was MUCH cheaper); maybe the Coys are getting some financial aid!

I live not too far from the Coys and just to add a little tidbit, it's a nice neighborhood of $550,000 to $675,000 homes...
