Randi's siblings are spoiled, snotty little brats!!! Mom and dad aren't so bad because they are willing to do what their daughter chooses to do, even though they don't support it. They have a feeling something isin't right but are just waiting to see. Like mom said "even if she robbed a bank I would be there for her." Now that's respect, love and UNDERSTANDING!!!
Those f*****g kids of hers obviously need a lesson in what is more important! To be honest, they are acting like snobby high school kids who get whatever they want. Not to mention I felt like they are prejudice against large people. So what if the guy is fat and maybe a little uncooth. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They never ever put one thought into whether Randi's happiness is important. They just expect that pretty people should stay within their own "KIND", BULLSH*T!!! I hope they get an OVERDOSE of their own medicine someday. Not good enough for her...whatever, whiners!!!

I don't really think so. I think I would have reacted in much the same way. I mean, think about it. She only "dated" for a couple of weeks, and it all happened so quickly for the family. We, unfortunately, do not grasp the speed of this because it's spaced out over six weeks. Oh well.

It is difficult to gage how we would react, but I can assure you I would not act like Randi's siblings. They are only thinking of themselves, not her.

My father married a woman who lets it be known that she can't stand me and one of my sisters. My oldest sister married a guy who is really mean to her. My second sister married a guy with 3 weeks notice. I married a nerd who did not fit my lifestyle. In each case each of us in the family expressed concerns, but nobody cried, nobody pitched a fit, nobody refused to participate in the wedding, we all supported our family member with love and a smile on our faces (much like Randi's folks).

Whether I approved of my sister's hasty decision, I know one thing for sure, I would be spending as much time as I could getting to know him......even if I had to share my beer.

I may hate him, but at least I would have more reasons to.

You know, i've been thinking about this a lot. And to be honest, i agree with the subject line WHO the HELL are these Kids to act this way. They are living at home. Randi, as far as i can tell is the only one, who is even out of the house making something of her life.

The older brother, is a major lush/@$$hole. I'm serious. Who the hell is he to say, "I'm not gonna support you." The more Ithink about it, the more, i think this show may in fact be the clearest indication of the dysfunctional family.

There's really funny moments. Rice Crispy Treats and Hot pockets. hehe, but seriously, i mean, my Grandparents tries to boycott my parent's wedding, but when it came down to the wire, they were there and trying to help albeit last minute.

The oldest brother is an enigma.

Ever since that whole, did you see that scene where she calls them, and he;s jsut like staring at the phone while the father talks?

And then, right then and there, he's just staring into the camera and saying. "It's really hard for me to believe she would be in love right now. I just, don't see that."

The youngest son is just a carbon copy of the older brother. I wonder if the Older brother had some kind of football scholarship or something and had it yanked of flunked out. So, there's some resentment to his whole life. Randy gets a big house and a wedding, Randy 's bettern Me, Randy's getting married first.
Well, i'm gonna show my ass about the situation to let her know i get my say, i've always bullied my other siblings and look at them, they know their place! They do as _I_ Say.

ITs a weird situation. I mean it. Even though this family is weird, i mean, it's like what can you do.

The father is a lot like my father. "He's gonna move near us?" the motehr., "I will take her home!"

Yeah this family has this strange closeness thing. Reminds me of me. I was the first in my family to leave home and go farther away than 200 miles. And summarily, in a way, i'm the black sheep. There's some wonder if i'll ever get married, but i can guarantee my family would never boycott my fiance.

Yeah, the whole family is weird and it seems one of thoe small town families, who is perhaps a BIG fish in a small pond? One of those that never does anything improper cause if it got out it'd damage their life in view of the rotary club.

The father is like. "He's gonna move to your town? Cause you know you're Job is there. Um. Well, Dad, i mean, i might have a career in film or television after this, you know, we are being filmed?

Dad: I asked you if he's goign to move? you know he's got no education? One Dropout in the family is enough Randy. By the way, i named you Randy cause i really wanted another son. Why couldn;t you have played football like your brothers?

That's what i'm getting from all of this, and yes, the Kids are SPoiled. I think the eldest Brother has had some kinda trajedy, he reminds me of that very wallowing self=pitiable individual who blames everyone but himself, and doe shis best to fight everything but what he wants.
