"Does reality tv make you competitive?"

I am doing research for a top university on the topic of reality tv and its affect on human emotions. I am focusing on reality tv and how it portrays success. Many winners or contestants of shows have to be ruthless and competitive to win; does this infiltrate into the daily life of audiences. Do you have any stories about how you take aspects of reality tv and apply it to your activities or to accomplish a task? Please be serious. I know many of you think reality tv is a joke, and I am not saying it is quality tv. But it is undoubtedly part of our culture and many people are addicted.

No it doesn't make me more or less competitive it make me think how I could start a reality TV show that could help people with the everyday problem's. I have always been competitive.I really dont need a show to put me in that frame of a mood but as you have said it is a everyday event that we are involed in so it is part of our culture
