LAST EDITED ON 05-26-06 AT 10:09 AM (EST)My news paper lists the fall schedule for NBC. The Apprentice in not assigned a time slot. Does this mean the show is done or that they are going to add it in only for the late season replacement? NBC has been promoting that the next season would take place in LA, odd to me that it is not on the schedule...looks like plans have changed.
The next season will run late January/early February through May. NBC's decided to run only one competition per season, so that'll be our only dose of Donald for the year.It still won't be enough time to forget how much this last round svcked.
Does not speak well for the show.
It's been running out of steam for a while, and this last season really was the nail in the coffin!
Agree totally.--Singer
Not on fall 2006 but is on spring 2007 see http://www.thefutoncritic.com/charts.aspx?id=fall_2006 on Sunday nights.NBC is doing football in the fall on Sunday nights and then has to fill up that part of the schedule when the season is over.
Does anyone know when taping will begin? I'm in the greater LA area, and would love to run in to the contestants as they're doing a task. One thing about LA, is there's no community really like in NYC. And, it's so huge, I wouldn't even know where to start looking for them.

http://apprentice.tv.yahoo.com/trump/05/assets/apprentice6_yahoo_application.pdfis the official application.
March 9 was the deadline to apply
Final selection is in May.
This is what they had in the application if you made it as a player.
X. If you are selected as a player, you must be willing to travel to and reside at one or more undisclosed
locations in the United States for up to eight weeks in the Spring/Summer 2006 (or as otherwise
scheduled by the Producers). Economy travel to be paid by the Producers. So it looks like summer 2006 unless they changed the schedule since it isn't airing until 2007 and they don't want the delay between taping and the show, and it sounds like they can do that based on this application.
Somewhat surprisingly, the schedule is staying the same -- the fact that the Season 6 is going to be beginning production in Los Angeles in June is being publicly cited as the reason that, for the first time ever, The Apprentice's live finale will be taking place in LA instead of NYC next week. The timetable is going to be pretty wierd -- basically they'll be narrowing the field to two in July 2006 and then forcing the two finalists to go home and wait until May 2007 to find out which one of them won.
There's an article about this on the site's The Apperntice section:
