I'm lost on the pink truck thing. Are they trying to play it off as the truck they were driving on the show? The pink truck is not the same truck. It's a a totally different vintage, and all. Anyone know?

I think Paris said they painted the truck pink...and now it was a "Barbie Truck". Albert even said that he didn't mind driving the pink truck around town. Maybe FOX fixed it up (along with the new addition to their house) as a reward for hosting the girls.

The point the op was making is true. They never had that truck in the first place. It is a 50s model and the model they were driving on the show is an 80s F150. Also they did try to make is sound like it was the same truck and it is definitely not. They never had a storyline about them painting the truck either. Anybody else know anything?

I read something about them getting thrown out of the house and having to borrow and scam cash from the locals for a hotel stay and they used part of the cash to paint the truck.

Their original truck was probably a late 70s model, no way was it one from the 50s.

Yes I was exaggerating a bit on the model but they are about 10-15 years apart in age. So if they got thrown out, where did the new truck come from they painted?
I agree with the last poster. There was alot of BS in the whole show, not just the reunion.
Edited to add: They showed scenes when the show starts up every week (on their little montage) where the girls were eating ice cream on the pink truck etc.. usually when you do not use a storyline or scene you do not show it and confuse the viewers. Much less when it was a different truck and color all together. Everytime I saw that I thought maybe it was something from a future show, but now that it is over I am like ?????
There is also a poster that talks about a scene they are in and it was never shown so maybe they edited ALOT. But the producers should of gone back and made sure they did not make references to scenes they never intended on showing.
