"Sometimes You Have to Laugh At Yourself"

We have a tree in our department at work, and I went looking for a power strip in a cabinet. I got it, and must have been balanced precariously cause I plopped right on my butt like a baby learning to walk. Right in front of the guy at work who thinks I'm cute. He said, "Is it hot in here, because your face is really red."
I have this annoying tendency to blush easily.

So, did the cute guy help you up?

Don't feel bad, Debs. I've tipped my chair more times than I care to count because I've tried to reach too far to grab something and ended up going over instead.

You get to stand up & rub your butt suggestively right in front of him!

YYou missed the perfect chance to work in a Nelly reference. You should have said, yes...it's hot in herre, so take off all your clothes!

I am sure it would have distracted him from your unfortunate plop.

My husband has "musical tourettes". He can't stop himself from singing any song that pops into his head. He taught our 5 year old and our 3 year old THAT SONG.

I blush so easily I'm sitting here blushing for you Deb LOL

I had a "red face" moment at work today. It was the last day for some people that were laid off. One of the guys was walking around the office saying his goodbyes. When he gets to my office, I stand up and reach out my hand to take his, then I was going to kiss him on both cheeks. He, on the other hand, had other ideas. He opens his arms for a hug. We laugh, then he puts out his hand and I open my arms. We did this a couple of more times. Yep, my face was red. Especially since my DH was standing there watching all this and laughing at us
