I think it's Gloom!
Bad things have happened!:
1. Girlfriend texts me @ 2:35am to dump me.
2. I burn the breakfast bacon.
3. Garage light goes "POP" and is totally dead.
4. Buckle on the back of my shoe fails when I was walking home from the store. About a mile.. Flap flapp FLAPPP!
Well, all I can say is this: Don't worry much about #1, #3 and #4, but I REALLY wanted that bacon, dammit!

Hope it's not a portent of things to come!
eta: later that day:
1. Medicare says I have no "Part B" anymore.. WHAT?
2. Pharmacist calls and says Prescription Plan is no good.
What?!
3. I am asked to go back to the former Concrete Box where I
worked and teach idiots how to makes stuff. GAH
4. Girlfriend says not to worry, she just had a migraine, but
we need to "talk" Uh Oh! Rather glad that I am not going
to Hawaii with her this year. Crazy, eh?
Now, just waiting to hear back from my attorney on that "Illegal Use of Tear Gas" charge HeY! What could go wrong?

Women! They never want to talk about the "C" word that I want to talk about, only the "C" word that they want to talk about.
I say this equal opportunity thing has to go both ways. I get to pick the "C" word that I want to talk about on even numbered days, and she gets to talk about her "C" word on odd numbered days. Just make it perfectly equal, we both talk about something else on the last day of every non-leap year.
(Now what was my "C" word again? I know I had it here somewhere. I'll look under the couch cushions.)
