So, now we're at

Those loveable Astros vs the hated Yankees
and Dodgers vs the Cubs.

Both the Astros and the Dodgers ended their Division series early, and have home field advantage in the championship series. So both should be favored to go to the World series.

I like the looks of all that.

Congrats to Moley and the Dodgers. Kingfish power will be in the stands for the last of the Astros/Yankees series.

I think that the whole USA outside the Bronx is united in hating the Yankees, right? RIGHT!

Looking forward to playing the Dodgers.

Win lose or draw, this has to be the best world series since the last ice age, with two of the best games ever. Last night was the most exciting game I've seen in a long time. And I remember the Perfect game (sitting beside my dad, not really grasping what I was seeing) thrown my Don Larson. But it nor any of the others compare to last night.

It was a series for the ages, and although the final game was not as dramatic as two of the earlier games, the Dodger's tenacious ability to come back in these games kept me from breathing till the final out.


ASTROS Win the World Series for the first time in recorded history. Which for them was 55 years.

Yes. I survived. It was a true E-Ticket roller coaster ride. The Astros certainly earned their title. And no. Moley don't share his French Dip with nobody. (Well, if Vin Scully asked, I wouldn't say no...)

Thanks to the details of the mini-plan I shared with three others -- no. We were only allowed to purchase our two seats for one WS game. It was an instant choice for me -- I've been to 4 WS (1974, 1978, 1981, 1988). So I told my friend, 'you go'. The other two had their own decision to make. It was Game 1, so the outcome was pleasant.

I did go to game 2 in each LDS and LCS (plan allowed us to purchase our seats for any and all games)

Halliday was a great pitcher. I had him in Fantasy one year, I did well with him.

According to witnesses he was hot dogging near the shore. It seems that the competitive streak and spirit of adventure that he had in spades might have been what done him in.
