It with great sadness to come in and tell you that yesterday, Ra_8secs passed away following a massive heart attack. I know most of you know that we were no longer together, but this still breaks my heart to know that the world no longer has him in it. On the other hand, I am very glad that the demons that chased him are now gone from him forever.He loved this place, and brought me here shortly after we met online. I just thought that you all would like to know.

So sorry for your loss, Sunny.I know you and Ra were no longer together and that he had some issues, but that doesn't make it any easier to accept his passing. Thank you for coming here to share the sad news.

He refused chemotherapy. Got a bucket list to do (attaboy!) and his wonderful ex-wife is taking care of him in his final year.
Damn difficult. I guess we see what we are made of.

Aw, Sunny, I'm sorry to hear of Ra's passing. He is one of several here who have left us to move on to the next world.I've had a very difficult year with my dad's passing in January and my mom's passing late last month, 75 days in my dad's footsteps. While I acutely feel the loss, I also feel the rewards they have brought into my life and in their shaping who I am as their son. I carry fond memories with them and I think of those memories to fill the gap I feel within me from their loss.
