I know I don't check in around here nearly as often as I used to, but please, don't clown around on the old forums.

Why haven't I been around as much as I used to? Because the folks still posting here pretty much know and follow the guidelines. I say pretty much because I've been seeing spammer mocking and silly, irrelevant posts on shows that have been off the air for years.

I stopped posting here regularly because it was taking too much of my time and energy to deal with crap, and I got tired of it and had to take a long break. I started heading back over to Survivor Spoilers and was enjoying it. But when I spend more of my time cleaning up stuff than reading the real stuff and wanting to interact, it just makes me wonder why I should come back. I've tried to respond to the few alerts I've gotten recently.

I get it - you get tired of the passport spam. You felt like you were being left to your own devices when the whole Ukraine thing hit. So have fun.

I mean, I understand your frustration. It would be better if we could just automatically filter out (or ban?) certain posts or spam posters, but we like to see you once in a while.

I'm having a bad day, but I did feel a little better removing spam posts after getting an alert.

It's a small victory, but at least now I can say I had a victory today!
