Stand at attention, folks! We have here a guy who is apparently excited about being in P.E.I., just all a-tingly sitting on the beach. It's not hard imagining yourself being there this summer.

After this was discovered, many of the 180,000 guides were pulled (but not before they sent me one in the mail as I'm planning to be in PEI in July) and replaced with a new cover photo of a ... lighthouse. Yes, a lighthouse, as good a phallic symbol if there ever was one.

PEI... it grows on you. Watch out for the ocean spray, though.

I hear that those silky furred seals, with their languid and inviting eyes, are really quite comely this time of year. That would explain it. Sort of. In a disgusting way.

A short dip in those northern waters would cure what embarrasses him.

Also, (looking around for Estee...clear? OK.) it's her fault for not pleasing her man. She should put that book down and do what needs to be done.

Finally (and this is the last one), if this was a result of being on PEI, they are making a mistake in pulling the ad. Their tourism business model needs to be refocused.

Wait wait, one more...oh crap, you stole the "oceans spray" one already. I'm warning you against poaching my gig, Pepe.

From the lodging section: Pitching your own tent on the beach is acceptable but not required.

From the dining section of the guide: Great local fishing, but crabs are imported during tourist season.

From the shopping section of the guide: Show yourself off in the latest of beach fashions.

From the entertainment section: The best in nighttime entertainment. Put your book down for a moment and you'll see what we have to offer.

And the photo cropped off the slogan. The whole page reads:

Heh, one of their tourism slogans is "Are you coming?"

In light of this cover photo, that slogan has never been more appropriate (inappropriate?).
