With what little he still gets from that $40 Mill. contract, he'll have pretty good credit at the canteen.

My understanding is that Hernandez was guaranteed $16M when he signed that contract, to be spread out over three or four years, including $6M in 2017.

The rest of the contract was voided when he was cut from the Pats immediately after being arrested.

And yes, as kidflash said, the wrongful death suit should take care of what's left of Hernandez's money after the lawyers take their chunk out and his fiancee likely also spent a big chunk of money while he was awaiting trial.

Hernandez doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would give his fiancée access to his checking account.
