Ooh ooh, I got one! I got one!

Please eliminate all Kardashian related stories from the RTVW page.

Elizabeth Kwiatkowski, are you listening? Don't worry, you won't be out of a job.

Start a rule that whoever is mentioned there will have to have a modicum of some kind of talent, or a funny forehead growth, or something more than just a genius marketing/publicity agent.

Being a queen of the blank stare shouldn't qualify.

If we could get that going, we could work on eliminating all Kanye West related stories next. Although I have to admit that his ego is kinda like a funny forehead growth.

Someday a brilliant sociologist will be able to explain to why anyone gives a damn about this family. Strangely, no one I know does.

Once again I raise my voice in protest.

I am hoping that the RTVW front page can stop just being a forum for all things Kardashian.

They are not the extraordinary people that they are made out to be, unless you like women with blank stares, insipid lives and personalities, and who have extraordinary publicists.

There are three Kardashian stories on the front page today, of of the top five. Surely there are other RTVW people out there that really have had interesting things happen to them today. BB is about to wrap, and a winner is about to be announced. Numerous human interest stories there (sort of). Survivor is about to begin another season as is The Amazing Race. Those shows are full of personalities that actually have personalities.

Elizabeth, please, cut the Kardashian stories until one of them kills someone, or (preferably) is killed by someone.

I'm with you kingfish. I come here everyday and it is Kardashian this or Kardashian that on the front page every time. They are not interesting in the least, have done absolutely nothing to justify the celebrity they have attained and I just don't care about them at all. And no one I knows does. Who is it that gives a damn about them?

And I’m with you! But I don’t think anyone else is listening.

Their publicist obviously has the ear (or email address) of whoever has to compose the RTVW front page, and who has to put something up. Maybe he/she is forced to use every story about how this Kardashian feels about cornflakes, or that Kardashian thinks someone else is cute, or another Kardashian has a bobo on their toe because other RTV DAW’s agents have a sense of discernment as to what is an interesting story and what is not.

Maybe other RTV DAWs don’t have agents. However you have to know that the RTVW shows have publicity departments, so why are they letting themselves be steamrolled in this competition?

Maybe money? Could a periodic under the table packet of money to a poor reporter be involved?

Here's what I'm hoping. I think it's futile, but maybe, just maybe the addition of his egoness Kanye to the family will eventually kill their publicity driven golden egg and cause them to fade from the scene.

I can hope.

Even as you post about how much you hate their seeming omnipresence, you are publicizing them. Don't do it.

All references to them must be proactively avoided in order for them to get deservedly sucked into the Vacuum of Utterly Useless And Unremembered Personages.

You're right. And I'll take the pledge (left hand on bible, right hand on heart) to never again mention she who shall be never again mentioned.

Unless the snark factor is just to perfect to not mention? OK, not even then. A pledge is a pledge is a pledge. Is a pledge.
