The indictment of Perry, whether politically motivated (which it clearly is) or not, does not increase odds for success for the Democratic Party in the upcoming election. They should be talking him up publically, and privately be on their knees praying for this guy to be the Republican nominee. Now, the Republicans might nominate a rehabilitated Christie, or Ryan, or someone else that could actually be elected.
This is more silly tactics by the Democrats than a real problem, Perry wasn't going to be nominated anyway, but this still demonstrates wrong headed thinking.
