"It is time to play GUESS THAT STATE!"

While checking over the medical news sites I monitor regularly I found a quote.

"Turns out that that the young man was attempting to dislodge a dead squirrel from an overhead branch with the butt of a loaded 12-gauge shotgun."

I immediately checked the news article for the state where

"until now "gross contamination of an open wound with squirrel flesh {was} an unreported event,"

GUESS THAT STATE!

Squirrel is the state meat of West Virginy.

But do they relish the brains? Not West Virginia.

North Carolina.

This is basically a defensive guess in case it's, as I fear, Alabama.

Alabamy and NC are safe, this state usually manages to out crazy both of us.

"Indiana"

Squirrels are everywhere around here this summer and there are enough bone-headed 12-gauge shotgun owners in this state that it's entirely plausible.

What did the young man say after the incident? "Nuts!"

Your statements give me Illinois squirrel flashbacks. Darn pushy, cheeky buggers. Got a dirty look when my shopping bag rattled and it wasn't nuts. Had to show the squirrel what it was before he left me alone.

But not Indiana.

Although on WaitWaits Bluff the listener, once in awhile it is Germany rather than Florida.

So we're sure he wasn't born in Alabama and relocated to Fla?

Well that is the question of the ages.

Nature vs Nurture

Is all the crazy in Florida homegrown or is it saving the rest of us by attracting the crazy to it like a moth to a flame?

Being a medical case report it is devoid of the kind of details that usually allow for stalking enough to know.

Reconsidering.

I think I'd rather not know the answer to that question.

Let's just pretend he came from Canada.

"OK. You're right. Florida is where the crazy's are."

It's been a couple of years but this happened in Florida too:

What a smart move - ban the children not the pedophile.
