Yep, worked on the Space Shuttle. Christ, did stuff for the Rand Corporation that was way ahead of the time. One of the pioneers of crystal technology.

Dead at 93 this morning.

Sandee's Dad.

Please send your love and good wishes.
I do not know if this eases the way, but how can it hurt?

One of those space shuttles could be handy to get around in Heaven's skies.

But it was his labors on the Precious Moments and Hummel lines which he'll truly be remembered for.

>>HUGS<< to family and friends.

As a science and space geek (yes, i do have a certificate proving this claim) I'm always jealous of anyone with a close tie to the space program. These folks were incredible. Thanks.

Sorry for your and Sandee's loss, and RIP Harlan.

I've known two ceramic engineers, and they both have patents that allow them a life of luxury. Both flit about between estates in personal jets. But these guys were in the chip industry from the the early days.

I had never heard of ceramic engineering before I met them. What a smart field to get into, as well as superb timing.

Posthumous Kudos and Thanks, Harlan.
