LAST EDITED ON 02-28-14 AT 12:02 PM (EST)Of course I'm going to need the Mill or so it took to hire the defense team, but if I'm ever caught in a similar circumstance, I can't wait to see how successful I would be with this defense.
She's caught driving on drugs (supposedly Ambien), she admits to it (and blood tests confirm it) and the defense and prosecution all agree that this is the case. She has a wreck, and the DUI trial centered on whether or not she realized she was impaired and should have stopped.
I know plenty of people who have been convicted (rightly so) even after claiming they were sober enough to drive, and for whom the following claim was laughed out of court.
"If I realized I was impaired, I would have pulled over," Kennedy testified.
Yeah, Kennedy's are above the law we commoners are held to.

Tribe strikes again
LAST EDITED ON 02-28-14 AT 02:34 PM (EST)Great idea. It's probably against the law to even question anyone's claim to be a Kennedy. Especially in Mass.
Might not go over so well down here, but the Kennedy's probably have special laws even here.
