Saturday was international supadupah bacon day for some reason, prolly the bacon lobby. So the baloney conglomerate hauled out a new product:

Woo-Hoo! Tried 'em and .. they taste pretty much the same as their other dogs .. eg. baloney in dog packaging. No hint of bacon flavor, not even Can'tadian bacon. Very disappointing, had to get the condiments out, and that was with them grilled on an outdoor grill smoke enhanced and all the advantages!

Packaging says bacon included, but nah. Well, maybe, on a technicality, but flavor certainly wasn't; for that you have to add bacon or bacon bits or smokey seasoning or turkey bacon if you're desperate.

Grade: dud.

Bah - I prefer to wrap bacon around Hebrew National hot dogs. Makes me feel all subversive.
