Fresh poll numbers just came out, and Weiner's projected percentage of the vote dropped. A lot. Put it together with the women in the audience who literally turned their backs on him during his last speech and you might guess he's having some trouble with a given part of the population. Understand, he never had true majority as in roughly 50.00001% or more -- but in a very divided field, as of the June polls, he had a larger portion of the theoretical ballots than anyone else. Now? Not so much. Christine Quinn doesn't seem to have picked up that many of his dropouts -- but she is ahead of him now.

To me, the funniest thing about this isn't that he fell for it again. It's that one of his three sexting partners was apparently working under a well-scripted advance plan, and not for the texts. Exchange words et. all with former politician. Wait for said politician's career to restart. Find nearest tabloid show. Collect check. Repeat steps three and four until people get bored or ninety-six hours pass, whichever comes first.

Clearly a woman with goals in life. Watch for her on the next Celebrity Apprentice.

Polls showing him a distant 4th now. But the scary thing is that forgotten DiBlasio is suddenly a front runner.

If DiBlasio wins, I will consider moving from NYC. And I am not saying that as a joke. I'm terrified NYC will become Detroit if DiBlasio takes this race.

I'm hoping his recent showing is a momentary bump stemming from his saturation of TV ads in the past few weeks. But those ads point out exactly why he is a terrible choice, they should be driving his numbers lower.

DiBlasio's platform appears to be:

The NYPD are the enemy.

Tax the Rich to pay for social programs (his ad actually says this word for word proudly)

I wouldn't be surprised if he named Al Sharpton or Charles Barron as Police Commissioner.

I'm hardly a Tea Party Republican but DiBlasio frightens me more than electing a crook like John Liu or a pervert like Weiner.
