Penelope started out as one of the Whacky Racers, then got her own show The Perils of Penelope Pitstop as a takeoff of Perils of Pauline.

Just came back from a totally horrendous school lunch--ham and cheese sandwich and a sack of chips that I paid 2.50 for--I was in a totally pissy mood and then I come back to all of these cool things. I am thrilled!

I saw the Kim Possible sig in the "East Coast Update" thread in Survivor and came back here to see its origin.

My daughters (now 7 and 5) LOVE Kim Possible. The show is so silly that it's hilarious. Kim is a high-school student/save-the-world-type secret agent/cheerleader. So she goes from high action-type drama to high-school minidramas among the Pennys of the world (in fact, Penny could have been the model for her main rival, Bonnie, another cheerleader at Middleton High (school nickname: "Mad Dogs")).

Her assistant is another HS student, a geeky guy named Ron Stoppable (who has the pet mole rat, named Rufus). Another assistant is Wade, a kid with a gift for technology that would make James Bond's "Q" green with envy. Her mom is a brain surgeon. Her dad is a rocket scientist. Finally, she has twin brothers named Jim and Tim ... and a friend, Monique, who works at Club Banana ("helping those in style denial") and keeps Kim up on all the latest fashion.

In short, she's "Supergirl".

I'm totally with you on the 'faceless entity' feeling. Hell, I've been a lame-ass dragonfly the whole time I've been here at SB. I do, however, agree with everybody else here: you're definately NOT a 'faceless entity'. You, AKim, totally rock!

I was thinking the very same thing as the rest with Kim Possible. She is one kick-ass super chick. My daughters (12, 10, & 8) love this show. Heck, I even watch it from time to time. I hope you find someone to help you out with a sig pic. You could also ask Femme, she's really good at making sig pics. Besides, I have a certian amount of pull with her, just tell her Asrai sent you!!
