I've been away mostly, on sabbatical, worshiping at the holy trinity of Love, Work, and Business. Emerald is at the top of the pyramid, hehehehe. "And you haven't even responded!" "Well, I didn't know it existed!" "Well, you should've!" "I've been busy! Basaball, been berry berry goodd ... for me." "How?" "You got a sweatshirt out of 'watching grass grow.'" "Oh." "Are you turned on now?" "Yes, more, please." She's my yes girl that makes me a Green. Not like the socialist greens who think they're better than everyone else and want to control our God-given right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. (With a cut for them as administrators over what is right.)

But enough political dribble. After I nominate HBO's John Adams and Paul Giamatti for everything possible.

Thank you everyone for belated birthday stuff. My two kids are up soon, May 10 (Ben was a Mother's Day child), and June 11 (Matthew -- isn't he first book of the new testament?).

I just recognized that my DAW level is approaching 1000. Unfortunately, Survivor is so boring I've nothing to talk about there. And my Terps tanked so there was nothing there. And the Nationals have taken the place of the Senators -- first in war, first in peace, last in the American National league.

Well, I blew out the candles and made a wish. And Emerald smiles.
