Link to article on major, supposedly-unbiased news agency's website. Several quotes from article. Use of vague, very slightly humorous reference to past event which no one remembers, that may connect to article in some way. Absolutist statement.

Mention of extremely biased poll. Quotation of poll numbers while managing to leave out any mention of polling agency. Notation as to how poll results support absolutist statement. Repeat absolutist statement, just in case no one got it the first time.

Cite argument that opposing OTers might post. Refute argument before ever seeing it while leaving crucial points out. Laughter at silliness of opposite (but equally absolutist) statement. Mockery. Reference to political scandal of distant past that has no bearing on current situation, but does push buttons.

Smugness. Satisfaction. Await pitiful challengers.
