That is just so sad.

I am in awe of the troop who saved the life of one of the injured by administering CPR for over an hour. CPR is exhausting. I hope they receive some kind of recognition for their efforts.

*sigh* Unfortunately, it's the season for camping and when Scouts camp, they are out in all kinds of weather.

I am in awe too. BSA has a special lifesaving award. One of our boys got one a couple of years ago for calling 911 when his grandma was having a heart attack. His quick thinking saved her life, he stayed on the line and did whatever they told him until the ambulance got there.

I went to Wyoming Trek one year for Girl Scouts, it's held on this huge plateau in the middle of nowhere in Wyoming. It stormed every day, the most amazing storms I had ever seen. You could see ever lightening bolt, just like they were drawn in the sky. Scary, but amazing.

I don't think they usually get a lot of lightning in Fresno.

I would guess they don't by the way Knockers had whined and cried about the scary lightening in DC.
