A couple weeks ago I mentioned that we had taken in a stray cat, thinking she might be pregnant, and wanting to care for her if she was. She's pretty small, and it was not obvious, though last week, I was pretty sure I felt babies in her belly. Friday morning, I found her with these 4 kitties, just moments after they were born (yes, right there on my white carpet - ewwww.) It is a lot of fun to watch them - I do it for hours on end - I didn't even get on-line all weekend - maybe I should try to get her to move her kitties up here so I could watch and surf - fortunately, there is a TV in her room.

To offer an attempt at interaction...what should I name them? Or who wants one? I'd be able to accept a cashier's check, and refund you the extra money, and pay your shipper in cash My lame attempt at cross-threading/humor...

Have fun. We currently have 12 kittens (3 different litters) so no, don't need one.

Awww... the widdle kitty babies are sooo cute!

You are a wonderful soul to give the momma kitty a warm safe place to have them!

Very Cute. I too have a friend who took in a pregnant stray. Fortunately she found a good home for all of them, even the mama.

So cute! Brings back memories. Our last litter was from a feral tiger cat we took in when it was bitter cold outside. She gave us 3 kittens, 2 white & 1 tiger (Spot, Puzzle, and T.J.), who still live with us. (Except T.J. - he died 3 yrs. later from a heart condition.) Never was able to tame mom. She tolerated us & stayed just long enough to wean them (and get spayed). Then saw an open door & took off. Never saw her again. Give 'em a cuddle for me.
