BW3's chicken wings, and a beer.
Handcrafted by RollDdice. Do you know why they call it Veal? Because it wouldn't sell if they called it "Dead Baby Cows".
Hey Nolay, what is BW3? I see them listed all the time on NTN Trivia, but there's none here in the Mid-Atlantic.
We really need a Damon's up my way.
they used to be Buffalo Wild Wings and Wreck or something, now they are just BW3's. The BEST wings to be found. I try wings almost everywhere I go--no really I do. And these are the best. I even copied one of their sauces for my stock home sauce. The beer was a yet unnamed local breweries seasonal.

We have one here in town, and the name on the sign is just Buffalo Wild Wings. Absolutely love the place, my fiance would eat there several times a week if he could. Love the wings, but the mozzarella sticks are the best ones I have ever tasted. We always have to split an order of those.Darn, now you've got me craving wings!
Wings and local brew sounds REALLY good.
I love hot wings!
Ahhh, thank you folks. I'm not much on wings meself, but Ladycub is the resident wings connoisseur.
Probably salad. For some reason I'm craving vegetables today. Better go with it -- that hardly EVER happens.
RollDdice it was handcrafted by. Thankful Miamicatt is. Bounce leads to happy, happy leads to joy, joy is a path to IceCat.
What, no gravy and cheese product?I will walk to the grocery store to buy a fresh salad. Thus, I will get both nutrition and exercise.
It's a nice warm day. Looking forward to the thunderstorm they promised.
Hey, I was wondering what the "A-pize, no tell" was for Mother's day?
It's a necklace, made of white and pink beads on one side, blue and pink beads on the other side and 3 green beads dividing the two. I wore it to work yesterday with earrings that DD made a while ago. She always smiles when she sees me wearing the stuff she makes. If I'd worn it today, I'd scan in a pic to post.
I love my kids so. much.
How sweet of you to remember!
Very Nice!I remember being very pleased when my mother wore stuff that I made her or bought her.
And I thought it was so cute how your DS phrased it. I even mentioned it to DH. It made me smile and think of when my little brother Jeff was small. That's how he said things too.
It's funny. I don't want kids of my own but it doesn't stop me from completely enjoying others.
Three Cheese Stuffed Rigatoni
Stuffed rigatoni pasta filled with a creamy blend of ricotta, romano and mozzerella cheeses tossed with orange and yellow carrots, zucchini and red peppers in a fire roasted tomato sauce with accents of oregano and basil. It was really very good.
And Friday, for a third week, I did manage to resist the Mac and Cheese.
from a new place up the street. The best margarita slice evah!
Pizza magherita is one of my favorite things in this life. I'm so gellus! Yum!!
Then you *must* check out Coppi's Pizza when you are in DC. (Around 14th and U St) They use to have a Coppi's up in Cleveland Park (more upscale) but I think it has since closed down and they are left with their flagship restaurant on U St as their only location. (They have a pizza magheritta with smoked mozeralla that is OUTSTANDING...and real insalata too.)
Kind of a cramped place though...too bad the one in Cleveland Park closed. It was much bigger.
is that anywhere near the Marriott at Metro center hotel?
another syren masterpiece
Hmmm...I believe it is on the green line...U St stop? Shamefully, I lived in DC for close to ten years and I drove EVERYWHERE so my metro sense is not the best.It is a place where more of the locals would go...I heard they were building up that area. I have been away for a good 5 years and back then the neighborhood left something to be desired but from what I understand it has been through some changes.
Lots of yummy places to eat in DC!
FYI-The Rolling Stones are playing for free in front of Julliard at 1:00.
Ah well. I've seen them before*struts like Mick*

No, but the can promises very low sodium. It was a Coke. And for you southerners, that means an actual Coca-Cola, not a generic word.

my boss brought me in a can of Survivor Pringles today. I was just gonna try a couple but I've eaten half of the cannister so far.I brought in some leftover cheeseburger pie that I made last night. If I don't OD on the Pringles, I'll have that.
Today's special is Cherry Tums and diet 7-up.
*smooch-stalk*
I thought you had left me. You never stalk me anymore. *grin*
*smooch*
I could never leave you. I just wanted to see if you would miss me. *smooch*
I like the mixed berry Tums. And 7-up makes my throat hurt. Its gotta be Sprite.
I.Heart.Syren
*swalt*
I enjoy those ones too. I am bringing tropical fruit Tums on my trip. I like the new Sprite Zero. It tastes just like Sprite with none of the calories or sugar or something like that.
*swalt* *girl*
You're going on a trip?Yes, the diet sprite is good sprite. I enjoy it muchly.
I.Heart.Syren
Yes, it is "let the animals out of the zoo" weekend and I get to visit the banana factory.
Banana factory? Is that some kind of insult? I'm telling DF.
Dood, I think she just called you an animal.
I.Heart.Syren
Hi!
See? I thought she called me a banana.Hi! *sa mooch*
Well, that's better than what she usually calls you.
I.Heart.Syren
Being mean and starting rumors since 1997
No, we will have the banana. I was calling her the nut. *rolls eyes*
Nut? I remember something about animals and zoos and bananas, but no nut. *confused look*
I.Heart.Syren
I want some banana nut bread now. Go get me some.
>I want some banana nut
>bread now. Go get me
>some.Breezy? Monsty? is that you?

Smooshy corn. Smooshy peas. Yuk.

my kids love smooshy corn. but not on bread
My dad ate scrapple too! I thought he was the only one in the whole wide world who ate that carp.I remember hiding under the kitchen table and shuddering while watching my mom prepare it. Scrapple is evil.
You Mustard-Dipped French Fry eater!Guess what? I like Cool Whip too! Wanna come for supper?
It's not soggy! It's Creamed Peas on Toast not Creamed Peas on Bread.
Er. To meet you, yes. To eat creamed peas on *gag* soggy toast and Cool Whip, no.
Coc au Flange-- Official Dish of the Phoquetard Inquisitorial Squad*smooches lightsy*
*smoooches* Oops, I think I got some creamed peas on you. Sorry.
Mr lights is a pea hater and gets completely grossed out when I eat it so I'm taking advantage of him being away. I'm eating all the things he hates.
I haven't had creamed peas on toast since I was a kitten!Today I had Lean Cuisine Beef Oriental Stirfry or some such. It was okay. They were on sale.
I'm washing it down with a banana.
About 5 years ago I finally asked my Mom to show me how to make them because I was having a major craving. I hadn't had them since I was a kid either. I've only met one other person who has eaten Creamed Peas on Toast ~ you're the second.
Open can of peas, pour into pan without draining. Mix flour and milk in a cup. Bring peas to a boil and add flour/milk mixture. Stir until thickened. Serve over freshly made, crunchy *waves @ Coco* toast.
The thicker the toast, the better. Sourdough? Even better better!
Honey Turkey and Muenster Cheese on Potato bread, the crumbs of Lay's Mesquite BBQ Chips, and a Dr Pepper on ice..and a food related question... if you are having a soda on ice, do you put the ice in the glass, then pour the soda, OR slowly pour in the soda, so as not to eliminate all the bubbles, and then put the ice in?? so.. ice then soda, or soda then ice??
I've always put the ice in first -- that way it doesn't splash or overflow when you plop the cubes in the soda.
I always put the ice in first and then pour the pop (not soda ) If you put the pop in first, then when you plunk the ice in it sprays everywhere.
I.Heart.Syren
For lunch I am having Arby's roast beef.
DH thinks I'm obsessive about it, and perhaps I am.. I pour soda slowly into glass, so all the bubbles don't go away, and then carefully, s l o w l y, drop the ice cubes in... so as to have maximum carbonation for as long as possible... I can't handle flat soda!!
Use a short glass and:Ice first
Rum second
Coke lastCoke without rum is just kinda wrong!
We call them freedom fries, you ignorant frog!!!!!!For lunch I had miso soup and a half sandwich. I am finally getting to the point where my uterus is bigger than my stomach. Food is no longer constant.

You know, that cat looks kinda like, um, if you pushed down on the tail, it would rotate. Weird. Not that I'm suggesting you would pin your cat to the wall, of course.

After last week's Twizzlers thread, I just had to buy some yesterday - Twizzlers Twerps: nasty orange and strawberry things filled with tangy goo, and black licorice Twizzlers.I've been eating them all morning at my desk, interspersed with dry-roasted peanuts and frosted mini wheats. I may have to skip my lunch of leftover carnitas and salad.
Handcrafted by RollDDice!
You wasted good stomach space on black licorice? Ewwwwwww.
The leftover carnitas sound yummy. I'm gellus.
The black licorice was WAAAAAYYYYY better than the other carp!
But I somehow found room for the carnitas. They were yummy - homemade, too! The salad will have to wait.
Did the licorice turn your teeth black?
You notice I didn't say I was gellus of the salad. Salads are punishment food.
No, but it turned my spit black.
I don't kow what's wrong with me - I ate two more pieces of the vile trash after my carnitas!
