Courtesy of dear ole channel 5, Kenny Chesney got married today to Renee Zellweger and it caught all the Nashville newshounds off guard. Mindy McCready just got arrested about 4 days ago for DUI and today made the news again because her boyfriend beat her so badly they booked him on attempted murder. I think I am going to loan her my nickname.

My DH calls Renee "the Bee Lady", because her face looks swollen like she is having a reaction to a bee sting. Squinty eyes, chipmunk cheeks, and puckered mouth. So not attractive. I agree with Asrai.

They've only been together since January, when they met at a tsunami relief benefit. Apparently, she showed up at one of his concerts a couple of weeks ago and came onstage to give him a drink and a kiss. That's been the only public sighting of them.

Likes the couples who don't flaunt their dating everywhere. It gives me the small hope that they're actually seeing each other because they care about each other, not because they're desperate for publicity.

Doesn't understand how you can date someone and be engaged and then break up and then marry someone else all in under two years and yet expect it to be deep, lasting, abiding commitment. But then, I've never been married.
