Shiver me timbers, ye scurvy pollywogs!

Capt. Blade Mcswain's the name!

Fun site! Rupert Boneham's name is Dry Bone Bronson, and Johnny Depp is, OMH!--you better try it yourself, cuz it's probably not PG13!

Edited to add: you have to use the 2nd name generator, and use lower case letters for johnny depp. Try it!

Ye can call me Captain Tom Kidd...only if ye live to tell.

And it's a heave ho, high ho, coming down the plains
Stealing wheat and barley and all the other grains
And it's a ho hey, high hey, farmers bar your doors
When you see the Jolly Roger on Regina's mighty shores

warbling loudly "I'm gonna be a pirate on the river Saskatchewan"
One of my favorite songs - didn't think the Arrogant Worms were that well known

Love, love, love that song. You can only imagine what kind of reaction that produces when they play the song at a Regina bar. I can totally dance to that song.

But I still must say that "Rippy the Gator" is my favourite Arrogant Worms song.

Screw the GST!

Did you say pirate?

ARRRRGH!

Oh wait. It's "talk like a pirate." Not "Express frustration that this fat shlub in a tie-dyed rag has way overstepped his 15-minutes" day.

You may refer to me as Bloodstain Bartholomew.

How creepy is that name?

It's also that filthy mudblood Granger's birthday. Like I'd get her anything.

The other day I read an extremely hot fanfic (thanks, Bally) that had plenty of really, really, really good Hermione-Draco action.

Although it paled in comparison to the one with Snape in it.

I never understood the erotic or romantic attraction of complete buttwipes.

Apparently there is something there, though, because fanfic like this is popular, AND that complete neanderthal (physically and intellectual/emotionally) I saw last night was out with a near-goddess.

Or is it only me that adds/subtracts 1-5 "points" based on personality?

"RE: Do you know what Sept 19 is?"

I do the point thing too...

Nobody's erotic when they're an #####hole. It's only when there's a turning point in their mind and they become a decent human that they become totally hot.

As for the Snape thing, it helps substantially that he's Alan Rickman.

Does your voice sound like his? Because if it does, I'm SO coming to Boulder.

But I sometimes sound Just Like Jack Nicholson. Not even on purpose.

"We are the Pirates..."
Posted by Gothmog on 09-19-04 at 11:53 AM
...who don't do anything
We just stay at home and lay around
And if you ask us to do anything
We'll just tell you we don’t do anything

Well I've never plucked a rooster
And I'm not too good at ping ball
And I’ve never thrown my mashed potatoes
Up against the wall
And I’ve never kissed a chipmunk
And I’ve never gotten head lice
And I’ve never been to Boston in the fall

And I’ve never licked a spark plug
And I’ve never sniffed a stinkbug
And I’ve never painted daisies
On a big red rubber ball
And I’ve never bathed in yogurt
And I don’t look good in leggings
And I’ve never been to Boston in the fall!

I probably just made that joke for my own amusement, since nobody else will catch the reference.

When I saw the subject of your post, the first thing I thought about was that (lame) movie with Kristy McNichols and Christopher Atkins.

Yo ho ho and a Yo ho ho
Yo ho ho and a Yo ho ho

We are the pirates.
We are the pirates.
Out on the ocean waves, we instill fear and loathing
(Loathing, we are very, very loathed.)
Marauders with shiny swords and very fancy clothing
(Clothing, we are very well clothed.)

Local supremacy is what we gun for.
We raise our flag and watch those cowards run.

We are the pirates. (Rulers of the high seas)
We can be irate. (Sometimes very nasty)
We wheel, (We deal),
We steal and thunder.
We loot, we shoot,
We sink 'em under.

We are the pirates. (Shoot, loot, plunder)
We can be irate. (Rip, tear asunder)
We are the pirates. (Yo ho ho)

Yo ho ho and a Yo ho ho

Aboard our sturdy galleon,
On the endless search for treasure (We just like to get the treasure map)
Looking very fancy in our britches made to measure
Nothing we like better than an all-in brawl, (Yeah)
Locked in battle, watch our victims fall.

We can be irate. (Sometimes very nasty)
We wheel, (We deal),
We steal and thunder.
We loot, we shoot,
We sink 'em under.

We are the pirates. (Shoot, loot, plunder)
We can be irate. (Rip, tear asunder)
We are the pirates. (Yo ho ho)

Yo ho ho and a Yo ho ho

Nothing good for, good for nothing, rebels to last,
We rob, the skull and crossbones hanging from the mast.

We are the pirates. (Rulers of the high seas)
We can be irate. (Sometimes very nasty)
We're mad, (We're bad), and unlawful.
We fight, (We bite), we're downright awful.

We are the pirates. (Shoot, loot, plunder)
We can be irate. (Rip, tear asunder)
We are the pirates (Ay, Ay Captain)
We can be irate. (Batten down the hatches)
We are the pirates (Yo ho ho)
We are the pirates (Yo ho ho)
The pirates.

Wow. I'm actually not the only person on this planet who remembers "The Pirate Movie". I loved that movie growing up.

Give me a happy ending every time

My pirate name is Swashbuckler Maria Lindsey the Fearsome.
For some strange reason, next weekend is Pirate weekend at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. This weekend it was Scottish weekend. But I did suggest we have drinks at the Barrrrgh.

I saw many a fine kilt today.

Oh and my name is ...

Black Mary Rackham

Iron Anne Bonney

A pirate's life isn't easy; it takes a tough person. That's okay with you, though, since you are that person. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well.

Arrrrrrrrrr!

which name generator did you use?
I checked all four of the links, so you can call me Dirty Bess Bonney, Eric the Enforcer(?), Capn Esmeralda, or Pirate Deb the Badly Burnt.

for kicks, on the last link, I also got a Mafia name. Ol' Eva Leathernuts.
