Or is it another one of those URGH! Mondays? I have loads of carp to do and I have two different peeps wanting me to work for them today (I don't want to do either).
I still have work to do in the back yard. It is really not hard work and I want to finish it but can't find the time.
I have poison ivy on both my arms and on one leg. It is itiching so badly!
The only good thing about this morning is the fact that the terrible Survivor season that was...is over! Bring on Survivor 9!
Anyone else wanna complain with me?
ETA: I forgot about my allergies! I have allergies from hell and have sneezed and wheezed for a week now. I am taking Claritin like it is going out of style. URGH!

"You are not holding your mouth right" is a Southern saying (or at least I think it is) that means that if you change the way you are opening your mouth...things will change. It is just one of those things you hear all your life but don't know the origin!

Vols,
There is a new cream soap out to treat poison ivey. I think the name is "Zanfiril" (I know it starts with a "Z"). It is expensive, but it will clear up poison faster than anything else. It's worth the money.
Also, benadryl cream drys it out and stops the itching.
Ditto on Survivor- It ended up being the "Crybaby" finale and renunion show.

I have no complaints yet, as I'm still drinking my coffee and haven't gotten out yet. Give me an hour, though. I have to meet my friend at the gym and I hate that place. Socialite wannabes, country singer wannabes (and a few 'got there a few years ago for all of 30 seconds), and a smelly cafe where they burn something every.....single.....day! Hurrah! Can't wait.

Well, except for the part about oversleeping because I stayed up too late grading because I put it off to watch Survivor. And facing the snarky, apathetic Seniors who checked out last month already. They do no work, but bitch at me if I don't have everything graded by yesterday if not sooner. Oh, and? narrowly missing the business end of a semi on the way to school because the idiot hasn't learned yet what the difference between "red" and "green" means on a stoplight. Yeah. Great day.

Sorry to hear you're having a bad day. I know what it's like to have bad allergies, I get terrible migraines when it rains sometimes.My day is just kind of blah, and Emily (the 2 year old I take care of) is doing her best to give me a headache. She loves the "American Idol" mix c.d. that I have, and she wants me to play it over and over. I don't mind so much, the problem is at the end of every song there is clapping, so everytime a song ends she claps and screams "YAY" as loud as she can. It's cute most of the time but after awhile it gets very annoying.

It's just that she's loud. I think she can scream louder than me.Oh, and I forgot to mention, after she claps and screams, she wants me to give her a high five, boy am I starting to regret teaching her that. I'm so proud of her she said a new word today, I asked her if she was ready for her bath and she said "bath". She hasn't made any sentences yet but she has great comprehension and knows a pretty good sized list of words and what they mean.

Sorry to hear your day isn't going well Doc. I dug three 30 gallon trash bags of dandelions from my yard this weekend. I made the mistake Friday night of brushing the hair from my eyes with the hand I was picking with. I genreally don't have allergic reactions but that did me in for the night.
So far Monday has been ok. I have about 4 tasks pending waiting on input from others. As per typical no one will respond until the day before dealine and then wonder why I can't finish my 16 hours of work in the remining 6. Oh well.
I hope your day improves.

Lost, I know how you feel about diggin those dandelions...I posted a thresd a few weeks back where I thought I had to dig to China to get to the end of those roots! That is tough work!
