He wouldn't jump on the couch. The first time he just jumped in the air and the second time he sat on the couch. I thought maybe I wasn't being clear or spelled something wrong, so I tried again. He just jumped in the air again.

"walk", and he did
"shake your tail feathers", and he did
"jump on the couch", and he stood on the couch and tried to jump
"wiggle", and he moved a little bit
"do jumping jacks", and he did them all over the room
"sit down and shut up", and he sat on the chair and tapped his foot

I'm mildly amused by this.
