BEBO was not being rude just trying to point out that there was already one post on David and we did not need 20 more, you could have posted your thoughts in the thread previously started. It is called duplicate posting and it is not needed. Preventing duplicate posts helps to keep a neat board and one that is easier to read.

As far as the Desperate Attention Whore posting (DAW for short) behind your name, sorry if you take offense but if you would read the GUIDELINES you would see what that is all about.

Anyone else have any complaints?

No complaints, just a big *smooch* for KScott!

OK, so I also wanted a free DAW. Because I *am* a desperate attention whore.

I said "welcome". I said "please". And as a moderator of this forum, I requested that you read the community guidelines. I think we have a different definition of the word rude.

You didn't bother to familiarize yourself with the guidelines or the nature of this forum. And if you had read even one other post before posting yourself, you would have seen the tongue-in-cheek description that is beside every person's screen name. This would have allowed you to prevent such a description from ending up beside your name if you chose - by not posting.

Edited to add a link to the discussion of desperate attention whore, as well as the different levels. Short answer? It's a reference to some of the things that reality show contestants do to extend their 15 minutes of fame.

I am now locking this post, since this is not a discussion of the "Average Joe" show.

We really do have guidelines here. Believe it or not, the Guidelines make things more fun. Really.
