I guess I'm not the best judge of what makes a woman "hot" (being female), but I haven't cared much for Samantha's looks (weasel) or personality (pushy) all along. Somewhere in tonight's mad dash to finish squashing 400 hours of film into 4.2 hours of viewing footage, someone pointed out that Samantha would be good for Adam to have on his arm as he's going down the red carpet (or something to that effect). Frankly, I don't think she'll even be too good for that for very long - she has very harsh features that likely won't age well. So it must have been a "chemical" thing, which would be hard enough to get across on film as it is; and once subjected to the creative editing team, the "relationships" that Adam formed were probably very little like the original.Must be nice to be one of those editors ... kinda like being a Fate or Zeus or something (suddenly have flashbacks to that really bad movie about the Greek gods where Harry Hamlin played Perseus or somebody, and all the gods & goddesses sat around Olympia pushing the little earthlings around like on a chessboard).
