"Terrible Mistake"

All Adam could say about Sam was "she's so hot". Once the facination with her looks wears off, he will see that she is just a
high maintenace priss with a preoccupation for her dog. He will realize that he let the right girl (Rachel) slip away, then all he will have is regret.

He sure will have regret!! She was not interested in Adam and it was so obvious. Look how she talked at his parents about shopping etc. he better watch out!

I wonder if he realized that when Rachel told him she was there for the right reasons.
He had a look on his face , like , Uh Oh !!
Then again , he probably had one thing on his mind and that was not marriage and kids and a future .

Agree. I think that was the reason he picked Samatha, becuase Rachel is, in my opinon, more beautiful than Samantha. Just check her out at

I guess I'm not the best judge of what makes a woman "hot" (being female), but I haven't cared much for Samantha's looks (weasel) or personality (pushy) all along. Somewhere in tonight's mad dash to finish squashing 400 hours of film into 4.2 hours of viewing footage, someone pointed out that Samantha would be good for Adam to have on his arm as he's going down the red carpet (or something to that effect). Frankly, I don't think she'll even be too good for that for very long - she has very harsh features that likely won't age well. So it must have been a "chemical" thing, which would be hard enough to get across on film as it is; and once subjected to the creative editing team, the "relationships" that Adam formed were probably very little like the original.

Must be nice to be one of those editors ... kinda like being a Fate or Zeus or something (suddenly have flashbacks to that really bad movie about the Greek gods where Harry Hamlin played Perseus or somebody, and all the gods & goddesses sat around Olympia pushing the little earthlings around like on a chessboard).

Gotta agree that Samantha won't age well. I noticed that right away.

Adam did say that she was more of a makeup girl and not as much a natural beauty. I don't think Adam is in it with Samantha for the long term though so I guess it doesn't matter if she doesn't age well.

You think her harsh features won't age well. She clearly is going to go up in weight, and Adam better hope she's not "nervous" too often because Samantha said that when she's nervous she eats and eats and eats. Uh oh.
