"Shallow Gal Dumped by Insecure Gil."

I think we are all too blown away by the "why" to see the real beauty of the moment. It was sweet irony in a modern love story. Of course Fabio is a joke (a gorgeous hunk of a joke) and a guy being insecure about being with a girl that slept (emphasis slept) with Fabio truly reveals sweet Irony in her decision go for a guy that never expressed any feelings of love for her. Hell, on a silver plate Gil told her he hoped to get acting out of the show's results! She took one look at Tim Wakefield's frame while at Fenway, and forgot about skinny Brian. I hope everyone saw those hidden camera clips tonight revealing Larissa's first reaction to all the AJ's. She stated, "Did make-up do anything extra to make them look that bad" Anyway, back to sweet irony: Shallow Gal Dumped by Insecure Gil. It would have been too easy to have the secret be an acceptable reason for dumping her, or a bittersweet reason to love her. If 100 of Hollywoods best writer's were locked in a room; they couldn't have beat that one. "Fabio!" That's like Jennifer Lopez telling Ben Affleck she dated Vanilla Ice! And when Gil said there wasn't one guy out there that wouldn't feel the same... wow! What more would you expect from the land of "Dimpled Chads" but "Insecure Gils."

Actually, if you caught Rob Van Winkle (aka Vanilla Ice) on the tragically under-rated "Surreal Life," he came off looking pretty good! He's a devoted family man and--though he still needs to deal with his anger about his past--he seems to be a down-to-earth, sincere person.

Which parallels the iconoclastic symbolism of metaphors exemplifying the shallow parodies of relationships based on past associations.

Although ... despite the tears at being rejected, one must suspect that Larissa got what she really wanted out of this whole thing: fame (at least temporarily) and 4 days in Cabo San Lucas with a really hot (albeit limitedly intelligent) guy (is it terribly difficult to guess what they were doing there, save the 3 minutes they were on camera?).

If Larissa wants a career as an actress, I hope she doesn't mind playing the villain for a while.
