what happened to the $100 rich dad poor dad author gave to antonia? she was supposed to turn it into $500. i haven't seen her give it a moment's thought.

I wondered about that, too.

Antonia's plan to turn the $100 into $500 was mentioned again on today's show...very briefly, so it was easy to miss.

The HG's were on the sofa, and Antonia said that she is planning to have a "poetry night". She said she has the venue and the name ("Stahting Ova's Open Mic Night"). She is planning to charge $20/$25 per person. Jodi suggested Antonia could pay someone to make up flyers. Then it cut to Jodi in confessional saying something like, "We are all trying to help Antonia with her project, but Niambi is isolating herself" and then the scene went to Niambi.

Thanks, Snowflake. This question has been driving me crazy. I thought it went the way of TJ's "support chart" - you know, to the land of unfinished assignments, lol.

So, there's going to be a "Stahting Ova Open Mic Night". Don't tell me, let me guess! Tickets will be purchased by Jessica, Jill, Kelly, Cassie, Josie, TJ, and anyone else who wants one more day on the small screen, lol!

okay, there are endless FREE poetry nights in LA. good ones too. why would anybody pay good money to go to her poetry night? also, it does sound like something antonia would come up with. this is another faux SO achievment. maybe they can sell some of Christina's "art" too.

LOL, yes please sell that hideous "flower" of Christina's that's still hanging on the wall of the SOH, so I don't have to look at it anymore.

Maybe they'll invite Lisa2 back to reprise her famous "Tony" poem, first performed at Pink's Hot Dog Stand. Christie can model swimsuits, and Jessica can come back with some of her photographs to sell. (LOL, yes, SR, you know Jessica is just waiting for her next invitation to come back to the SOH)

When Antonia said she had the venue, I didn't know she meant the Starting Over House's living room, like she told Iyanla today, while IV was holding A's head on her lap. *sigh* I'd rather see Antonia make the $500 by doing something that DOESN'T rely on the Starting Over House and luring people with the chance to appear on TV.

I bet there was a lot of government red-tape to cut through in securing the living room. What a go-getter that Antonia is.

Too bad I didn't know about it back in November. I would have gone.

What venue can you rent for less than $100 and still hae money left over for flyers, food, stage/lighting/mic rental...? Even if she uses the SO house, she should be charged, right? That should cost more than $100 too. Also, should the HGs be billing Antonia for the time they spend consulting on this project?
