I think the new look is fine, but I do not like it better than her regular look. Now her hair looks too thin. I loved her full straight hair. Kim had a cut that really worked well with her face. I also think her outfits are tasteful and well put together for her look. Her new look is not a crisis, just not as good as before.

Kim's a very pretty woman period. Best looking HG in this season.

OMG you have already seen the show of her grad? I have been so curious what they would do with her - it seems like anything Andy would do would be WAY downhill. I like Kim's normal hair and thought maybe a VERY light wave and VERY subtle highlights might be cute, and when she does her own makeup it already looks good. I had visions of some nighmarish dress personally selected by Andy, rather than something elegant and simple that would suit Kim.

Kim's cute enough and Andy's weird enough that it can ONLY go down hill after the make over. I'd love to know now how it Looks!

Did she give Kim her signature Angry Caterpillar Eyebrows?

I havent seen the makeover yet. I hope Andy didnt screw Kim up to much. I am happy she is graduating. I am a Kim FaN.

I didn't like her look... at all. I also think she is a very beautiful woman, normally... but today she looked like an old woman with an "Andy" style. I didn't mind her outfit, it was actually kind of cute, but her hair looked horrible, and something about her make-up made her look VERY old. I don't know what Andy was thinking today. Kim could have done better on her on. It is a shame that on her big day, she had to look like that.

My opinion is that Kim is a pretty woman who looked better before her Andy Paige makeover, as evidenced in the many "flashbacks" they kept cutting to today:

I think the makeover made Kim look older and gave her an old-fashioned look. It also made her look kind of sad . I wonder why Andy tried to "sex up" Kelly & Lisa2, but when she actually had an attractive woman (Kim) to work with, she tried to fix her as frumpily as possible. The dresses Andy had to offer were so incredibly ho-hum. Kim had pretty, smooth, healthy hair, so Andy just had to make sure Kim's new haircut was "choppy", and made Kim's hair look thin, rough, and damaged. I also preferred Kim's own "minimal" makeup look...she looked so much fresher with it, as opposed to the typical Andy Paige "pancake" makeup.

I thought Kim looked infinitely better at Kelly's graduation than she did at her own.

They should have had a makeover with a twist---letting Kim make over Andy!

in the 70's or the lady from Dallas with brown hair..sorry

got off the airplane and my well meaning aunt put me in
a Gosh Ugly skirt outfit that had me looking like i
was MS WIGGENS from the Carol Burnet show.. i was shell shock and went with it just to get through the moment

I will guess KIM is also shell shock wants to get the heck out of there.. and and will scrape the make up off wash the hair
add some gel or styling spritz and come out looking

I think that whatever they did to her, it does make her look much older and tired-looking. I think Kim looks vaguely like Sally Fields and I was concerned that Andy would try to cash in on that and give her helmet hair.

They really need to get rid of Andy and get a real stylist.

Yes I agree and that was my first thought is that she looked older not better - even my husband, who never really watches, was sitting there and said she looked older and not as good as when they were showing flashbacks. Just what is with this bullcrap about Andy the 'expert' stylist?? give me a break

In SO make over world, there seem to be only two kinds of fit for clothing. You are either popping out of it or hanging off of you. Kim looked like a little girl playing dress up in a grandma caftan. They showed her in tons of cute dresses with great fits in the shop. In true SO style, do you think that's the one she gets??? nope!

The hair was a mess to me. Should of left well enough alone!

I've said it before. Andy Paige knows exactly ONE type of make up and that is the Evil villian from the old Batman series with extremely exaggerated makeup and I wonder about if she is either a mean spirited jealous chubbette who dresses them out of spite or if she just plain has poor taste. She might need to go to a REAL cosmetology school and be removed from the show until she learns more than one outdated style. She seems nice enough as a person but she doesn't do good with the makeup. NO ONE should walk the streets looking like that unless they are intentionally "walking the streets". Andy is WAY too made up and her eyebrows and dark heavy winged eye makeup are comic evil villian looking. Her super winged lips too are funny looking. That would work on stage in broadway NOT on tv or real life.

Is this Kim's punishment for her oh-so-terrible-yet-truthful mini-speech at Kelly's farce, I mean graduation? I'm sure in typical SO fashion we are supposed to take something meaningful away from this particular "transformation," but all it tells me is that Andy Paige is a cosmetological sadist.

edited to correct typo, and to add: I think the HG's would have had less conflict with Kim if she wasn't better-looking than they are...including Christie, the "model".

I was wondering the same thing.
Based on the make overs that Andy gives the graduates,it seems to me that she still has problems getting along with women and might need to come back to the SOH for a tune up.

Does anyone else think that Andy got confussed today. I think the she thought she was helping Kim get ready for the "Dress as a 70 year old lady" assignment and not graduation.

I did think that Kelly looked wonderful dressed in something she picked out. She looked confidant, comfortable, self assured.

I feel sorry for Kim. She came to starting over for a fresh start. She's supposed to leave with a fresh look. I don't think that was accomplished. Yes she does look like she is going on 70. Great work Andy!

What was the name of that store, "Pilgrim Formals"?

Was Andy taking Kim shopping for her new office job? Is she starting over as a receptionist in an insurance office? What was up with those dresses? They finally have a woman who doesn't need to camoflauge 75% of her body, and what do they put her in? Office wear!

Not a sequin or a bead in the store. It had to be a "she's not looking THAT much better than every other woman in the room" approach. Has there ever been a woman, even the super plus-sized ones, that had less to choose from? Why did they want to age her? I don't get it.

Actually, her final choice looked different from what was put aside for her. It was obvious that she wanted a little glamour.

The hair...um...it's the same style they seem to do on everyone. It was OK. Kim's make-up was alright, but for some reason the lines on her face seemed so deep.

When she was in the confessional, she looked a lot better. The lighting HAS to be better in there. She really is a very pretty woman.

And yes, I noticed the black suit on Kelly. It did look a lot like the suit Kim wore to Kelly's graduation. I just think it looked better on Kim.

The hair and dress were okay. I think the makeup made the lines in Kim's face seem deeper. I wanted Andy to do a GREAT job of making Kim over and I should have known better. She was made over alright to look like she was 60. Kim does her own makeup much better than Andy ever did. But I am happy she is graduating and I wish her well. I hope everything in her life works out for her and that she and Jeff and Jax live happily ever after. If I were Kim I would look up my dad and give him a piece of my mind like she did her mother. He deserves it.

Please please please FIRE ANDY PAIGE!!! Kim was gorgeous sitting in that hairdressers chair. They chopped her hair something awful. The make-up was applied like a 3 year old painting up her dollies face. The dress looked great but with Kim's figure she can pull almost anything off. I hate Andy's big grinning train wreck of a face. I hate her gaudy clothes and her know it all attitude.She is a personal stylist from hell. So sorry for venting but I wish that Kim hadn't let that woman near her.

I thought Kim looked like Sally Field (The Actress who was Gidget/ The Flying Nun) on CRACK! Kim had the deep facial lines of someone who was wearing TOO MUCH MAKE-UP! They took her healthy hair, and chopped it to bits! There was NOTHING flattering about what Andy & cohorts did to Kim. NOTHING. I.hated.it. I am not a Kim fan, but I felt sorry for Kim. She was looking forward to being pampered with a makeover for her "big night" graduation---If that were me? I would have REFUSED to come out of the house! (and not because I didn't want to leave) I would be insisting that they FIX ME first! Kim would have looked better if she'd washed her face, put on jeans and a T-shirt, and pulled her now-ruined-hair into a ponytail. I would'a.

Poor thing. So much for "pampered." More like, "spanked."

I think Andy still has issues with women, and these so called makeovers are evidence of that IMO. If you really care about and support women, wouldn't you want them to look their best for what is considered a special occasion? That's not happening with Andy. I rest my case.

I tuned in late today and all I thought was "Oh My GOD what have they DONE to you Kim?!!" I didn't like Kim's look at all. The outfit was frumpy, the makeup made her look older and the hair just looked like a rats nest. Andy should have been arrested for doing that to beautiful Kim. What I want to know is, does Andy Paige have some kind of dirt on the SO Producers that they keep allowing her back? This has to stop. Really.

The frumpy dress Kim wore was her choice. The last dress she tried on, the red one that Andy and the shop keeper kept insisting was so sexy, was my favorite. It fit, and flattered, her figure. And, her boobs weren't falling out of it, ala Lisa II and Kelly. That's what made it so sexy, IMO. I think Andy wanted Kim to choose that dress. Don't know why she didn't.

Just as I figured ... Andy strikes again! Could they just have left Kim alone??? Maybe let her pick someone to go shopping with her and do it on her own? She could have gone to one of those great stores that have REAL stylists that could have actually helped Kim ... not sabatoged her like Andy did.

I've said it before ... and today confirmed it once again. Andy thinks she is the 3rd LC. She presents herself as being all knowing, totally in charge, with the attitude of "you wear what I say, you do your hair like I want, and you let me do your makeup the way I want it or I'll report to my fellow LCs that you refuse to surrendering to ME - the process! If I want to make you ugly, like I do everyone, you MUST surrender or there will be NO graduation for you girly!!" ... followed with an evil "hee hee hee!!" Andy even said "... I'm really proud of her for surrenduring to this makeover. For trusting the process yet again." She considers herself the final exam for these women. At the beginning of every makeover Andy has that evil "Wait til you see what I'm going to do to you!" look on her face, basically asking "will they do their final *assignment* the way they are told or are they actually going to go back to thinking for themselves and DARE to stand up to ME ... the High Priestess of Making Women Look Like Sad Old Ladies Dressed Totally Inappropriate?"

Sadly, Kim's "makeover" made her look like what she felt when she 1st arrived at the SOH ... abused, sad, tired. I felt sorry for her. Once again, they PROVED to her that she can never trust anyone. Her whole time on SO seemed like one big sabatoge ... beginning with Jill and her superiority attitude, to Christie's constant gossip, to Kelly's psycho bully attacks, to springing her mother on her with no prior discussion, to the final "we can't stand that you look better than anyone so you must suffer" makeover, AND bringing Fear-For-Your-Life Kelly in for the graduation!

IMO, the makeover was one of the worst yet. Her hair looked like they tried as hard as they could to make it do exactly like Andy, Rhonda, EchoLisa, and everyone else Andy touches ... that whispy, spikey, stick out all over look -- but they couldn't get Kim's to stick out so just left it a mess. The dress made her look like she had no figure at all and the make up was the worst of all. Poor Kim looked twice her age.

Hmmm wonder why Kim didn't want to "surrender to the makeover"???????

Kim has never had a good look.
She wasn't nice she didn't deserve a good makeover and she didn't deserve.
Everyone who has had a makeover has come back looking way better than they did when they came in the house.
Kim didn't want to surrender becuase she's rude and thinks she know all. If she knows so much and thinks she's better than everyone else why did she coem to SO.

I thought this makeunder was horrid.

The dress looked like an over-sized hospital gown, which made Kim look too skinny. Between that and the new chewed up hair, she looked like she was hospitalized for malnutrition.

She looked old, tired and unhealthy.

Maybe Andy was jealous of Kim's good looks and small frame because, clearly, there was malicious intent with this dreadful makeunder.

I wanna say I can't believe it, but I can because it's ANDY! Andy managed to take Kim a woman who has a classy style and made her look cheap...smh. Kim's hair IMO looked like a weedwacker had got a hold of it. I have never seen Kim look as old as she did today...smh.

Kim's personal style really concealed her history. Now I can look at her and tell she has problems. Thanks alot Andy.

*I thought Kelly looked good! Sorry but Kim doesn't have a monopoly on black suits.

Does anyone remember when Brenda refused to let Andy do her makeup. Brenda was very self-confident in her looks and also oldere than Andy. They should give each HG an optionof what they want on their last day, e.g. spa visit, hair style (their choice) etc.

Not that I liked the makeover, but I think Kim also looked tired from stress and emotional distress. The way they sprung her graduation on her when she wasn't really mentally prepared or ready for it, then she had to rush around and pack up all her stuff (suddenly losing her "home"), plus the emotional stress of going back into her real life, leaving her SO home and whatever support she did have in the house--it's just a huge change for her and she needed a chance to adjust to all the change. If they had moved her into her graduation gracefully, instead of this rushed, abrupt deal--it would have been better for her.

And accolades to Dr. Stan--if anyone really made a difference to her wounded self--it was his compassion as a "father figure" that really seemed to penetrate.

I agree with you 100% Dophin. I think the lines were mostly because of the stress of the past few days, & having her graduate so quickly, I think she needed at least a day to recuperate from Kelly's graduation, Kim's "flower assignment", & all the activity. I love Kim & hope she makes it out in the "real world".

I think she looked beautiful. She was probably tired and stressed out....I liked the look she chose. It was much classier than Kelly's. Kim seems to have "classic" taste in clothes. I wish her the best. She's been one of my favorites.

I think one reason Kim looked so old is becuz i think she cried a bit about leaving. when i cry my eyes get all puffy and i get dark circles..also i don't understand why she picked a dull color like the dress she usually wears at other's graduations. i was hoping to see some color and something sexy but classy like TJ wore..Also pleeeeze will someone tell me about the graduation? it was storming nearby so most of it was missed becuz they kept it on the weather. i never got to see what anyone said except rhonda (part of it) and dr stan..after that it was all weather news...grrrrrrrr and i was recording it. i like to record the graduations. i don't even know what her gift was..thanks...

You're in luck, bellybutton! They're showing the rest of the graduation tomorrow. It ended with Dr. Stan talking, then went to something else. It should be GREAT tomorrow! I also look really horrible when I cry a lot, my eyes swell up, I get dark cirles under my eyes. That would account for Kim's face looking so tired, she was probably very emotional by graduation. Also, I really teared up when Dr. Stan talked, WOW, what a beautiful tribute to Kim.

I think Andy aged her about 10 years. For some reason she looked old. I think Kim's got a great sense of style. She didn't need a makeover. She probably just needed a day of beauty at a spa and a new outfit. Why mess up a good thing??? I give Kim credit, she totally went with the flow. She didn't interject or try to take over. She has come a long way.

I agree Kim looked classier than Kelly, as she always did, not like an overaged prom queen wannabe. And bellyButton, they didn't get to all of the speeches (like Kim's or, UGH, Kelly's,)or to Kim's gift yet, so you're SAFE!!

Andy needs a gift too, a pair of eyeglasses so she can see the idiotic mess she's making of each woman's looks, and a good swift kick in the rear!!

IMO, Kim's hairstyle was cute and up-to-date. I wasn't so bothered by the makeup as others seem to be. However, the dress was humdrum and ordinary. I thought whoever picked it could have done better. Maybe Kim wanted a Sunday go-to-church dress, while Kelly got one where her boobs were falling out. Go figure.

Kim would've looked good with a bit of a trim, and some auburn highlights maybe, but keeping the length. But unless your head is already shaved... the house guests are in for it in the makeovers.

Hair-I actually liked it. I think when Kim gets a hold of it she will make it work for her. I especially liked the color.

Make-up - too harsh but as stated upthread it looked good in the confessional. It was probably intended as stage make up and the lighting in the house is not bright enough to make it look good.

Dress - HATED it!!! I thought the first and last red dresses she tried on were sooo hot and they chose that frumpy rag instead, go figure.

i'm generally not a fan of flat irons because it makes hair look too thin. i did however, always like it on kim. i wonder if this new cut would work well with the iron

Andy had absolutely no difficulty in turning Kim's fresh-faced, youthful and natural beauty into something haggard, over-processed and common. It will be awhile before Kim can grow back that gorgeous hair. Andy's talent perfectly represents the SO house: schlocky, idiotic and ruinous!

Did anyone else think Kim just got a haircut days before her Andy Paige makeover? Remember the day she left the house to visit her grandmother in the hospital? It seemed to me that when Kim returned, her hair had been freshly trimmed. Maybe she was hoping to head off an inevitable Andy Paige disaster: "Haircut? Ummm, no thanks, just had one."

Jodi's comment in the confessional made me believe Kim had initially tried to resist her Andy Paige makeover. I agree with 26mitogo...since when does having your hair cut against your will equal evidence of personal growth?

Pushing people to take other people's opionions reminds me of the episode with group learning if a whole group has a different opinion than you then maybe your own opinion was off. (the one with Jodi and the jackets). I haven't heard them caution anyone not to take it too far and rely solely on other people but trust their own instincts at the right times, for example when it comes to your strengths.

This might have been a right time. I thought a makeover was a reward not another exercise to pass.

Personally, I liked what they did to show the top of her cheekbones and her eyes. That's pretty much all I would have suggested she change. I liked that they added some wave to soften the look of her face. She could have accomplished that with a temp curling for the night and not cutting it.

Just looking at the hair alone was a little rat's nest (as said above) but I liked that it made her face a little less severe.

I hated the dress shop. She could wear anything pretty. Those were mostly cover-up dresses and many in odd fabric combos. Okay, some had open necklines but looked like housedresses made with expensive drapery fabric. The dress she ended up wearing was the kind someone wears to avoid showing loose skin on the upper arms. She can wear something that is body-conscious (as they say), that has short sleeves, no sleeves, or sheer sleeves, actually any darn gorgeous thing that is stylish. Why the frumpy dress shop?

The red dresses were better but she should have been in a shop where many more of the dresses were contenders.

Was the dress Kim was wearing supposed to be off the shoulder? I couldn't figure that out.She kept tugging it up like it made her uncomfortable.I liked the asymetrical,flutter hemline it was pretty and had nice movement to it. But the darker color wasn't as flattering in my opinion as a brighter color or jewel tone might have been on her.She is a naturally lovely women.The make-up was over done.I agree with other posters who have said it had a funeral parlor quality to it that aged her.They should have left her hair alone.She did a better job with it.

I think Kim's face just looked bad from the angle where she was sitting during graduation. Like S&R stated above, she looked great in the confessional, with the full frontal view of her face. Maybe Kim just has a 'bad side'. We've all got one, I know I do. Sometimes I forget which side it is, and thanks to digital cameras, I just pop over to the other side. Voila!

I liked the hair as well, it did softened up her features and make them less severe. The dress was alright, I get the feeling Kim specified something a bit more understated. She was probably worried they would put her in something ultra tight and cleavage bearing (like Kelly and Lisa2). I’m not against showing cleavage, just have the right support. Kim would without a doubt control that aspect of her makeover.

I thought the shade of pinky peach lip color was softer looking on Kim rather than the dark color she usually wears. Her eye make-up made her eyes softer looking too, over all I liked the make-up. As for the new hair style, it's hard to say from the angle on yesterday's show. The dress was cute off the shoulder, but the colors were too drab.

Kim choose the dress, the hair stylist made the hair style, so I think Andy did a good makeover with Kim's face.

Yes, Kim did look good in the confessional. It was probably filmed at a later time...Kim probably fixed her hair & makeup herself. I think Kim's styling skills are far superior to Andy's.

I'm currently watching Kim's graduation episode now (I had it recorded on Tivo), and I have to say, I do NOT like her new makeover!! I always thought Kim was very attractive, however, the new hairdo (in my opinion) seemingly adds 10 years to Kim's appearance. She looks way older! The frock she was wearing was okay, but I'm quite disappointed with the all-around makeover...Bummer!

I thought Kim's hair looked thicker. Since it was cut for movement. At least they didn't goop it down into a helmet with the end sticking out like they did both Lisa's. I liked the lest dress she tried on. That Andy and the shop keeper found so sexy. I did, too. It has a figure flattering fit. Didn't show any of the cleavage that, IMO, detracts from sexiness. And, red's a very flattering color on Kim. The dress she chose was decent, but it didn't flatter her figure like the red one did. And, the boots she wore with it made me think she's turning herself into a mini Rhonda.

I didn't get a chance to read every single post before responding to this, so hopefully I'm not repeating what someone else has said.

I think Kim is absolutely beautiful, and what Andy did was make Kim look like her mother Melinda. Did anyone else see that similarity? I never saw the resemblance until Miss Perky Paige made her over. Kim would have been better off doing her own hair and makeup. She looked old and run down.

Yeah - that's what struck me too Jndinc1... I did think the haircut made her look like her mother... and why the heck would she want to look like the woman who abandoned her. Bad job Andy, you kinda missed the point... as usual, but it's all about (your) process right. We're all here for you Andy.

Andy Paige strikes again!!! Take a perfectly good looking woman and turn her into a squashed bug. The hair just sucked. The makeup was wwaaayyyy over the top. The dress ("Kim doesn't have dresses in her wardrobe") was just plain and ugly. The boots with the dress???? ACK! Just because Andy wears that ugly stuff doesn't mean everyone else wants to look that way!! BLEECCKK!!!

It's Rhonda who often wears boots with her skirts and dresses. I think that's who Kim is trying to copy. I don't know why she chose such a frumpy dress. Andy and the shopkeeper seemed to be encouraging her to choose the last dress we saw her try on. A sexy red one.

Once again, the Makeover Monster has taken another innocent victim. Poor Kim. Now, the gal wasn't my fave HG this season, but I don't think that she deserved what was done to her.

Her hair looked just fine before. After was a train wreck. It was too thin and way too layered.What the heck is it with some scissor-happy-psycho-stylists and layers????? I think that a trim, a few highlights and a glossing treatment would have been better for her. The cut she had looked better on her, IMO.

Her makeup was too heavy, and with that awful cut made her look at least ten years older than she is.

Her dress was horrid. Butt ugly. It didn't fit, it hung on her like a too-large hospital gown and had no shape. Kim has a great figure, why didn't she choose a dress to emphasize it? There were a couple that she tried on that would have been a much better choice.

I know that I am no fashion and style "expert" but I think that I or, for that matter just about anyone on this board could have done a better job for Kim.
