I know they want to do the sendup of the awful food challenges on other reality shows but does anyone think they might just make the food look gross instead of actually using something disgusting.

If I'm an actor and being paid a lowly salary to do this sendup, somehow, I think I balk at eating anything that's truly disgusting just to further my character or career. But then again, that's just me.

We've already seen that Joe dont know much so why would he not bite on the physical presentation of the disgusting food and not realize that maybe it's chicken or sausage in disguise.

I'm just asking the questions...feel free to respond positive or negatively.

Oh I think what the others have to eat will be fake food. Matt will believe it is totally disgusting but the actors are probably told what it is. Meanwhile they may really use something disgusting for Matt.

I'll nip this one in the bud and tell you that although it looked and smelled very real (even up close and personal) the food was fake. We don't try to hide that fact from the viewers either. It just had to look real for Matt. The funny thing is, even though it was mostly vegetarian, it still tasted like ass. Matt was gagging just watching us eat that crap. My meal challenge was sheep's eyes. It was actually lychee nuts and grapes, with some kind of hot dog skin like wrapping it to give it a fleshy look. Ewwww. You are going to die when you see what we tried to get Matt to eat. DISGUSTING.

Thats good to know that it was fake. I was thinking about how someone could get real sick from eating some of the things they had mentioned in the preview.. Not to mention some of the pictures of the food did not look too convincing. And from what you say Lance, I take it no one should be eating when we see what you guys tried to get Matt to eat?
