"How long does it last?"

I've read that the 'ruse' only lasted ten days...but I've also seen the photo of Matt and the final two contestants. I can't tell if they're voting one person off each day, or every other day...or was it only the first eviction that was on day 2?

Anyone know how many episodes there will be???

There are 8 shows.

There was no elimination in Show 2. In the last real show there's 3 people left. So thats one elimination per week to show 7 where they reveal Matt knew all along. That leaves show 8 for the schmaltzy gathering of cast and crew where they explain how they fooled the actors and coached Matt all the way through.

I agree with a previous poster, I forget on which thread, who said this would have been a good mini-series or long episode. I just want to watch the story play out in one or two evenings of TV and be done with it.

Ok, so I have a new outlook on this issue. Doesn't this seem to move very quickly from a contestants’ point of view? Of course I can only guess, but for so much to happen in like 3 days so far would seem crazy, right? I've been a proponent that Joe doesn't know and that the environment would lend itself to believing that everything is real. Maybe the speed just adds to the dizzying effect and helps glaze over any bumps. Or perhaps the opposite is true, and the frequency of odd or hard to believe things happening would make Schmo question his environment.

Ahh, maybe I'm just rambling.

Definately had the impression that the last episode all took place on a single day, the day after Earl left: breakfast with the Hutches, sumo in the morning, the doctors return and next competition in the early eveing and voting late in the evening. I'd say this is all happening in ten days.

I think maybe in that photo with the three of them, they have told Matt what's been going on, then changed the show to a game for the money.

Matt's upset because they made him look even more ridiculous on the promos, so if you don't watch the show and see this guy out in the real world, Matt's more likely to get shredded some more.

I may have missed an earlier post that explains this...but...

I have been thinking that the compressed time (and small prize money) could be explained to the players as a mens to test the possibilty of the show.

Like a trial run.

" Would you like to be in a pilot for a reality show. Smaller prize but less of a commitment."

This would explain the rapid pacing of events and the cheap producition values?

Thoughts ?
