I jsut turned on the tv like 10 minutes ago and was expecting the finale but there was nothing does anyone know when the finale will be or what is going on with it??? Please help!!!

Hi Woe! Did you see Matt? It was during the preshow while the one guy with the mic is talking to John Stewart and Matt walks up. He doesn't get to talk at all and they kind of make him keep his back towards the audience. Glad you have Spike TV in Hawaii! I used to live in Amsterdam and so far The Joe Schmo Show has been the biggest highlight I've had since I've been back in America! European TV sucks! But that's probably because there is so many great things to do and places to go!

Hey Woe! You didn't miss much! Matt's back was towards the camera and Jon Stewart tried to ask him questions and the other guy with the mic (don't know his name) kept shushing him. Matt couldn't even respond. It was so fast I can't even remember what Jon was asking him except something like, "Aren't you the guy who don't know?" and "But if you don't know how can you be here?" Something like that! And then the show started. I thought they might show it in the rebroadcast of The GQ Awards after The Joe Schmo rerun from last week, but they skipped that part. Oh and I love Ali G too! He's on my embarrassing object d'Amour list! I really have to get HBO back! Especially after the 28th! It stinks how cable companies et al have these stupid one 12 channel packages! I want to see certain shows but each show is on a different pay cable network! Why can't there be like six one channel packages? Anyway I digress! Last week went by so fast, but now I think this week will seem long until the next Joe Schmo! But once it's over I have no idea what to obsess over! I wonder how many stalkers can be found at Bado's Pizzeria?

I agree with you Traces, cable companies and thier lame channel packages suck! Why can't we choose our own set of 10 channels or something? I just want to be paying the same amount, but watch what I want. Is that so wrong?
I should call up the cable company and be like "If you don't restructure your channel offerings I'm going to pull down your pants right now!"

I know it's like only being able to get NBC, and not CBS or ABC. I switched from HBO to Starz because it seems ridiculous to pay for a movie channel that only plays TV shows.

I watched the beginning of GQ, long enough to see Matt not talking to Henson (host) and then a little later sitting at the table with some other schmo. No big deal. He seemed to be in fair spirits though..... playing with the big kids for one night ya know.

The host/comedian, he so reminds me of Ralph Garman? Anybody else think so?

Extremely po'd at the fact that Joe Schmo finale was hyped up for tonight and not shown. Deciding to run Star Trek instead and the finale and rerunning Sunday's episode again later tonight.

Actually, they said at the end of the last show that the finale would be in 2 weeks. Plus, since the World Series has been going on, they have probably been planning that from the beginning.

I missed that I guess. Stupid me. It is also stupid of SPIKE TV to build a viewership for a show and then expect them to hang in there for another 2 weeks just at the moment of the "big reveal" or whatever. Crappy planning as far as programming timing goes on their part,to say the least.

My sentiments exactly.

At first I didn't like the thought of a 2 week layoff...but now I'm resigned to the fact that there will be such a let down when it's all over that the wait will only make it that much more enjoyable. Then comes the Matrix finale...man, after that I'll be ready to go back to my home planet, nothin left to see here.
