Watched it and said, "Oh, this is bad, soooooo tacky." I'm watching it to see the ending and Matt's reaction.I cannot stand "The Hutch." Why does he have to refer to himself as THE Hutch - which lends you to believe he has psych problems because he has to refer to himself in the third person all the time. He's just a raunchy mega-A*SH**E. He didn't even run to wash his hands after giving Joe Military a foot rub. It's gonna give him a case of the root rot if you know what I mean.
I like the buddy guy the best. He's seems the most sane/normal and a good sport, funny.
One of the writers, really? That's interesting.I liked the 2nd episode at first, but by the time it was finished I felt like the whole experiment is fairly mean. I bet Schmo will be disappointed, at first anyway, by the fact that his new friends are a bunch of characters. I would be.
I like the Ashliegh and Hutch characters the best right now.
so I finally saw ep 2, since my TiVO missed it last week (bad TiVO, bad, no thumbs-up for you) ...oh man, I keep liking this more and more every week. it was less "exciting" this week, imho (the ending was a little weak with the hot tub stuff) but on the flip side, I think the in jokes/whole self-referential stuff is just getting better. the whole "there is something special about you" bit at the end was great... yeah, you're the only one who isn't in on the joke!molly screwing up her story about her family was a little silly; it was difficult to tell how everyone was reacting because the editing chopped it a bit, but really folks, can't they come up with a slightly-less-dramatic way to act when someone drops something? the producers should prep them: "look, we have seen that we're going to make little mistakes and so far this hasn't been a huge deal, so don't everyone freak out and go quiet when something gets off track... just smile and improv and matt will never guess." --which has been the case thusfar. the actors are superfreaked about messing it up but matt thinks he's 100% in the game, and that's all he seems to be thinking about: getting along, being a good tv character and "strategizing" (though, interestingly, they are so not dwelling on HOW he's "playing" the game... he must be doing something, right?)
anyhow, looking forward to more and bigger drama.
oh, and I LOVE when the actors leave the room from matt and then wink at the camera and crack up. the whole dr. pat thing was awesome, the actress was so great, just making stuff up that would be fun... and the challenge game! oh! the eating the carrot from between his legs... I mean, could it be more embarassing and silly? so funny, since it's all a big wink-wink joke for everyone but him.
loving ralph the host more and more. hope they give him more chances to be smarmy and pompous.
can't wait to see the next eviction, the tease for it looked good, but even moreso, just looking forward to the silly-ass ceremony again.
